About Lucan Acupuncture

This specialist acupuncture practice has two clinics one in Lucan Village and another in  Dublin 2, Ireland. The Clinics are run by Jacqueline McDonnell, a registered nurse with 20 years experience in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine . Treatments provided using acupuncture include menstrual problems, fertility problems, pregnancy care, stress and insomnia, migraine, back and shoulder pain and irritable bowel syndrome. Other treatments provided are cupping, massage, Chinese herbal medicine, cosmetic acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and dietary and lifestyle advice.

I highly recommend her

Acupuncture Treatment

I have been attending Jacqueline for a couple of years with neck and back pain. She is so friendly and professional and she always listens, there is an air of calm and peace, in her treatment rooms. Her prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend her.

I attended Jacqueline over ten years ago when I lived in Dublin. I attended various acupuncture clinics since moving elsewhere. No one comes close to Jacqueline. She is in a league of her own. I only wish I lived near her clinic again. Cannot recommend her highly enough!

Price as quoted. Had one session to combat morning sickness. Unfortunately I was sick as soon as I arrived home, but will try it again. I got lots of advice and Jacqueline was so nice

Thankyou for the positive feedback.Morning sickness can be an ongoing process for the the first 12 weeks or even longer.Acupuncture can often lessen the severity of symptoms and make it more manageable and would usually require more than one treatment as it has an accumulative effect . Acupuncture is a very safe and effective treatment throughout the whole of pregnancy not only for morning sickness but for energy,sleep, stress/wellbeing ,backpain,breech presentation and even induction of labour!
