I am a dual Australian/Dutch citizen and decided to have otoplasty (ear pinning) done during the summer break while on a research assignment in Greece. I was looking for a highly regarded, highly skilled, English speaking surgeon. After extensive research and reviewing patient comments I came across Dr Karantonis, and decided to book a consultation. Within a minute after me met, I knew he was the right surgeon for me. He made me feel comfortable and has great communication skills. He explained the process involved in a detailed manner and is openly transparent about the potential complications. The surgery was efficient with no complications and I was able to go home same day. Afterwards Dr. Karantonis followed up on a daily basis with multiple check-ins at his office, and was always available if I had any questions or concerns. I could message him anytime of the day or night. The overall experience was extremely positive and considering the cost of procedures in other countries, this is high value for money. I am very satisfied with the outcome and highly recommend Dr. Karantonis to anyone considering plastic surgery.

Varicose vein treatment both legs. I would like to thank Anna who guided me through the logistics of treatment in Poland. I had reservations but on arriving at clinic Anna quickly put me at ease. Clinic was modern and well equipped preparation was very thorough. Following consultation with Dr Pawel Wlodarczak, assisted by surgical nurse Beata who was always there caring and reassuring Anna always in the background, the surgery went well. Although not without pain not for long after surgery I was up walking Immediately. I have been in recovery now for 7 days and already planning trip away and for once will be packing shorts, the unsightly and swollen veins are gone. Thank you all so much.

Treatment: Total Hip Arthroplasty, and post-op rehab. I am no stranger to ‘Health Tourism’, and contacted several clinics in other countries for the same operation – total hip replacement on one side. I contacted KCM Clinic after reading reviews and details on ‘What Clinic’ website. From that point on, I was most impressed with the speed, detailed information and costs sent by KCM, such that I decided to go ahead and have my hip replaced by them in preference to others. The UK NHS was a total non-starting failure. Every single aspect of the visit from arrival in Wroclaw to homeward journey was almost ‘micro-managed’ with superb efficiency. Transport from/to the airport, hotel arrangements, transport to/from the clinic nearby, pre-surgery assessments, surgery and hospital clinic stay, daily physiotherapy afterwards, all happened extremely smoothly. Yes, there was quite a bit of ‘waiting around’ at times during pre-op assessment, some of it caused by my own request for further cardiology assessment. The actual hip replacement operation occurred as arranged and was very straightforward. The level of care from clinic staff was exceptionally high, the coordinator was extremely helpful and accommodating at all times, the surgeon attended every day after the operation to check on progress and even changed the dressing himself, and the rehab. The physiotherapist always gave superb individual attention to maximise post-operative mobility. A very detailed discharge pack was handed to me when leaving the clinic, including CDs of all X-rays and diagnostic images, ready to pass on to the GP when returning to UK (in Polish, though – but I’m sure it can be well understood in medical circles). Can I recommend them? Without reservation! What about language? Polish is spoken throughout, but nearly everyone has a good command of English or German so communication was never an issue. I was continually impressed by the clinic, and they showed what true ‘health care’ is all about. All-in-all it has been the most positive experience, well beyond my expectations, and one that I will repeat soon for the other side! Thank you so much, KCM.

Fantastic treatment. Mr Quaba took the time to listen and understand my concerns and explained the neck and brow lift procedures in detail. From my first consultation right through to the surgery and aftercare I felt completely safe in his hands and the quality of surgery and medical care was excellent. Would highly recommend.

I’ve had bbl, breast lift, jaw contouring, under-eye filler, wrinkle treatment and butt augmentation with filler after weight loss. Am I forgetting something? Clearly since I keep coming back everything went great and I don’t trust anyone else that much. These procedures have made me the best version of myself and gave me confidence. I feel super safe going into surgery or doing something minimally invasive and I know for sure that my doctor is there making sure everything will go smoothly. Also, he will never lie just to sell you something. He will inform you in full detail what to expect and he will tell you honestly if he thinks you are a good candidate for such procedure or if you even need it. I’m 35 and I already know who is doing my facelift when I’m 50-60

I had a labiaplasty to Asst Prof Dr. Burcu ÖZBAKIR , specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics, and really this surgery was a life changing. It's not only about esthetic reasons, a large labia, can go to some medical issues, unfortunately. Probably a lot of women are thinking to do it, reading, watching videos, but they are scared, and this is surgery, that's true. But Dr. Burcu ÖZBAKIR did an amazing job. Fast recovery, no pain after, really really great. And the lady Nahide Evran, the International Patient Center Manager, was really helpful, assisting me in all this journey, advising me, visiting me before and after the surgery, and following my present situation. As conclusion, I really recommend the Hospital and the service and professionalism of Dr. Burcu ÖZBAKIR.

If I could give the Centre for Surgery a million stars I would! The whole process from the phone call, consultation and surgery itself was absolutely seamless and couldn’t gone better. Coming from someone with a severe needle phobia and not feeling comfortable in a medical setting I felt so comfortable from start to finish. I had an Otoplasty with Dr Michail Vourvachis today and yet I don’t feel any pain and feel like my normal self. All the nurses, reception team and anaesthetists were so kind, caring and attentive especially given that I was so nervous. Dr Michail Vourvachis truly is a one-of-a-kind surgeon, with incredible attention to detail and incredible at calming me down for my procedure. In my initial consultation, he explained absolutely everything I needed to know and I had no questions as he had already answered them all. He is not only an expert in what he does but he is such a kind and caring person who will help put anyone at ease. A huge shoutout to the nurses who were there by my side throughout the whole process. I was so anxious and yet they are all so kind and looked after me so well. And a massive shoutout to the anaesthetist who calmed me down and made me laugh. Thank you so much to the reception team for answering all my questions and being so kind and informative! I’m one of those people who are quite difficult to calm down when I’m anxious and yet everyone genuinely calmed me down and made me feel reassured and looked after. They really did go above and beyond! I have my check-up consultation next week but I couldn’t help to write a review immediately because of how perfect the whole process has been. I’ve had other consultations previously from Harley Street and nothing has come close to how incredible the whole team are here. If anyone is doing their research into where to have surgery I will recommend the Centre for Surgery immediately. I felt like I was in such safe hands. Thank you all so much I am so grateful!

Absolutely thrilled to write this comment regarding this clinic. I have done a lot of research and have had quite a few consultations with other surgeons prior to choosing Auralia. I came from England to this clinic for my consultation with Dr Salman in Sept 2022. The whole consultation was fabulous, the professionalism of the girls at booking in all to seeing Dr Salman himself. Felt at ease and confident this was the place for me. I have booked in for surgery (breast reaugmentation) for January 2023 and I will be more than confident my review after surgery will be as grand as this one. My communication with care coordinator Shauna Connor regarding booking in has been so easy, no more than a few hours between replies for whatever questions I have had, such a fab lady.
