I travelled from Ireland for a breast lift and implants. The whole experience prior to going was perfect, a girl called Melinda dealt with me the entire time, any questions I had were answered, everything I needed to do beforehand was explained. I flew over on the Tuesday, had my pre op tests Wednesday morning, had the surgery in the afternoon and was out Thursday morning and walking round sight seeing! Everyone in the clinic was lovely, obviously there was a language barrier with a few members of staff but for the most part I was tended to by English speaking staff, so it really wasn't an issue. The doctor was lovely, the nurses were lovely, the anaesthesiologist was lovely, everything was explained to me step by step. This clinic uses the exact same implants as certain clinics in Ireland which I was really assured by, the Mentor implants, I got my lifetime guarantee with them. The stitches are self absorbing as well so I don't have to deal with getting them taken out when I return home.. I have my post op check up tomorrow (6 days later) and I'm free to return home. When I researched clinics around Europe some places wanted me to stay for 2 weeks which just wasn't realistic for me. I got 350 cc high profile round implants and that decision was based on what I wanted and the surgeons recommendations from pictures of myself and what I was hoping to look like that I sent prior to going, I didn't get a chance to compare sizes or see the implants beforehand which didn't really bother me but it might have bothered some people.. I didn't want to go too big and the surgeon recommended a C but when i asked about going to a D cup he advised against it due to my frame being quite narrow they'd just stick out the sides so I trusted his judgement on it and went with his recommendation. The best part is that even when I factored in flights, accommodation and the price of the surgery, it was still only half the price of what I'd been quoted in Ireland! Well worth it in my opinion. At this moment in time I still have a lot of swelling and it will take a while for my implants to settle, but up to this point I couldn't be happier with how my surgery went and how I was treated before and after. I can't recommend the clinic enough! Plus Budapest is such an amazing city!
The clinic itself is beautiful! No joke I was actually gobsmacked. I tend not to believe places when they say online that they're '5 star this' and 'best in the country that' cause it's usually always waffle so I didn't really have any expectations of the clinic itself but oh my god, wow. There is marble and velvet and chandeliers everywhere, the place is immaculate, it is literally a stunning, 5 star, beautifully decorated, private clinic in the centre of Budapest with the most amazing views over the Danube (from the right window obvs). I had my own room with ensuite bathroom - which was all black marble, just saying - there was a mini bar, loccitane gift set, bathrobe, wifi, everything you need and the staff are really attentive as well, I didn't once feel like I was alone in a foreign country getting a boob job it just felt like a really professional experience and the way everything was conducted was really assuring. Sorry if this seems like an incredible amount of waffle but I found very little in the way of in depth reviews when I was researching travelling for my op so I hope this can help someone or put them at ease if they're considering going abroad like I did. To be honest I wouldn't have done it any other way.
