I went for breast augmentation and vaser liposuction surgery at HIMC. The surgeon who performed the surgeries was Dr. Jean El Hage. Undergoing both surgeries at the same time is a big commitment (recovery wise), but I was treated by an excellent surgeon and cared for by excellent staff. A little fat transfer was done too. I am very satisfied with the new look that the treatments gave me, and my body is responding to them well.
I contacted HIMC earlier this year, and enquired about undergoing breast augmentation and vaser liposuction at their clinic. Their responses were fast and professional. My contact person recommended Dr. Jean El Hage to me (who is part of the team of plastic surgeons at HIMC), and I am very grateful for this recommendation.
I enquired about the procedures (fees, before and after pictures, general questions about pre and post-op expectations) at numerous other plastic surgery departments and clinics in three different countries, but based on the responses I received from HIMC and because I trusted the surgeon's experience and aesthetics, I choose to do my surgery at HIMC.
Because I live abroad, I had one consultation with Dr. Jean El Hage before the surgery. He went out of his way to fit me into his schedule, and I am thankful for that as I asked for a meeting at very short notice. He is a calm and friendly doctor, intelligent and professional - and perfectionist; he absolutely takes pride in the work he does. He asked what I wanted, and he also told me clearly what I could expect.
On the day of the operation (approximately two months later), I found the hospital to be very clean. The pre/post-op rooms are private and quite large (visiting friends or family will not crowd you or the nurses) with a sunset view of Beirut. The nursing staff are incredibly kind, and I regret not buying them a bouquet of flowers. I stayed at the hospital for one night, and was discharged the next day. I was able to contact the doctor if I needed to at any time and had two post-op check-up appointments with him before flying back home. The staff at HIMC speak Arabic, English and French.
I am nearly three weeks post-op now. No bruising, normal soreness/swelling, no complications, and the scars are healing well. I am extremely happy with the results of my surgery, though I have been reminded that there are two and a half months to go before the results actually start to settle. However, I can already see that I'm on my way to looking very feminine (the doctor knows how to sculpt our curves sexy! ;)), and if I ever decided to undergo more plastic surgery in the future, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to call Dr. El Hage, or HIMC again.
