Sedation dentistry is performed for dental procedures for anxious patients by administering medications to help them relax. Many patients avoid getting the required dental help because of their fear of the dentist. Sedation dentistry is performed to ensure that nervous patients enjoy healthy mouths and teeth.

What are the types of dental sedation?

How long does recovery after Sedation Dentistry take?

Patients should rest for at least three hours after sedation dentistry. They should not eat for at least four hours, until the anaesthesia wears off. They should take all prescribed medications correctly. They should resume work at least one day after sedation dentistry. During our visit from Canada to Istanbul our Turkish friend who is a patient of NesbetiyeDent recommended Dr Zeynep Tutal and Dr Ece Sidal to us. We were both apprehensive about having any dental treatments done outside our home country. However, after our initial visit to the clinic my husband and I was very impressed with their professionalism, expertise and decided to start our treatments immediately. My husband had 5 implants, root canals, crowns and bridges plus all the cosmetic work for a great smile. I had crowns and bridges done plus all the work necessary for a perfect outcome. We are extremely impressed with Dr Zeynep’s incredible passion for her profession and her incredible perfectionism which are a reflection of her character and pride in her work.
