Castle Dental

After graduating from Queens University Belfast in 1992, Declan took up work in one of the dental Practices in Omagh for 1 year as a Vocational Trainee. Gaining valuable experience Declan then moved on to work in Private practice in Irvinestown and a mostly NHS practice in Castlederg before being asked to move back to Omagh. Staying in Omagh for 10 years, Declan used the opportunity to attend multiple post graduate courses and in 2003 completed a 1 year course in Osteo- ti Dental implants. In the Autumn of 2004, Declan with Miss Julie Baxter opened Castle Dental Studio- a practice they have built up over the last ten years. Declan has treated about 170 patients using Invisalign. This is a treatment deisned to move teeth using a series of clear aligners. He has also brought Lumineers into the practice to offer his patients a wide range of cosmetic treatments. In April 2011 Declan completed a year long restorative dentistry course under the tutorship of well known restorative dentist, Mr Paul Tipton. Declan hopes to continue with these studies in the near future. Declan has been a member of the British Dental Association (BDA ) since he was a student at Queens University Belfast and continues to attend many post graduate courses and lectures to further benefit himself and his patients. Qualifying from Queens University Belfast in 1996 Julie completed her 1 year vocational training program in Enniskillen. Although supposedly only 1 year in duration Julie proved to be very popular among the Enniskillen people and ended up staying for 5 years before moving to Omagh. Working in Practice for a couple of years, Julie moved with Declan O’Neill to open Castle Dental Studio in October 2004. Julie has a keen interest in tooth whitening and veneers.

Having also worked with Declan and Julie in a previous practice, Kirsty was also an obvious choice when the practice started.
