Dogus IVF Centre

(01) 901 0176 ext: 78080 Nicosia, Cyprus
Rating from 3 Reviews Excellent communicationMila, Valjevo, 21 Dec 13

PCOS counceling, ICSI for husband This fertility clinic markets itself in several European countries. So it's one of those places tailored for international patients. We have made a contact with Dogus IVF directly via their international coordinator on suggestion of our dear friend form Italy (she had IUI done there). Our aim was to get a second opinion on my PCOS and viable solutions and options for treatment and conception. We really had an excellent communication with Andri, she was there all the time when needed. Andri (patients coordinator) and her husband gave us great tips about Nicosia, so we enjoyed the stay. We've finished a battery of tests and we are planning to do IVF in next May. But there are few things I should warn you about. Dogus IVF (as I already said) is hospital for international patients, so they have dedicated coordinators and support teams for different countries and languages of course. What's the problem there, well they have resellers of their services. Dr. Alputurk is in charge of medical part, but you can end up with different UK coordinators and support teams. So your experience will determined on who/how you contacted to get treatment in Dogus IVF. Plus they have several websites online for the clinic (resellers), the official one will get you in touch directly with chief of staff and founder of clinic Dr. Alputurk and his team. So I suggest using it as a best way to get the direct treatment and support when in Nicosia.

I really couldn't fault the place at allRob, UK, 24 Oct 16

Good evening everyone, I thought I would share our experience at Dogus Fertility Clinic with you all as we found these forums very useful while going through the IVF process. I must have spent hours and hours reading through different treads. I'll start from the beginning my wife Hannah (25) and Myself (28) had been trying for children for about 4 years with no success. After making an appointment with our GP in England, we found out that Hannah had Polocystic Overies. Hannah was given Ovarian Drilling where they tried to burn the cysts off the ovaries but unfortunately this was un-successful. The NHS then put us forward for government funding for 1 free shot of IVF on the NHS at Wessex fertility center in Basingstoke, we were over the moon, finally thought we were going to have our own little family - A few days after egg collection we got a phone call to say they won't be putting the embryos back inside Hannah as they had abnormalities. We were later told that during the egg collection process they had difficulties because the eggs were deformed. That was it, everything was over/ We had a follow-up appointment to explain everything and to go over costs if we wanted to try again. A year later Hannah felt she was ready to try again, and with the advice of egg donation we decided this would be the best route to go down. While searching for clinics, I stumbled across Dogus IVF Centre - This caught my eye because Cyprus was the first place I ever went abroad as a child & Hannah and I also had our honeymoon in Cyprus. (Although we had always stayed in South Cyprus, Never the North). I'm a big believer in fate so putting the links together it felt right so I sent then an email, within half an hour I had a response from Andri it gave us all the information and prices on Egg donation that we needed. After talking with my wife we decided to get booked in. Andri sent us the timetable and protocol - Because Hannah didn't have any periods, she sent a prescription for a contraceptive pill to regulate her period. Andri also sent a prescription for all other meds that were needed. This was emailed to a chemist in London that we called up and had sent out by post (arrived the next day) and cost about £40 for the whole lot. We had to send a few test results over to Cyprus. We managed to get a few like the blood tests done on the NHS & a couple we had to do private (Simen Analysis - £120, Smear test £120, Ultrasound £150) - These were sent over to Cyprus by email. We decided to book our own accommodation for the week we stayed in Cyprus. We used Amy Villas and booked a lovely villa in Keyrina for £1050 and hired a car to get around. Flight were around £550 from Gatwick to Larnaca and the transfer from Larnaca was £40 each way. Andri did offer free transfers and transportation to and from the clinic, but I had been too organised and already booked it all. When we got to Cyprus, we got a lovely message welcoming us to Cyprus from Andri, the boarder crossing was no hassle at all, the taxi drivers literally just showed our passports at the boarder and they let us continue our journey. The first day at Dogus we met with Andri and Dr Sevket - Andri speaks perfect English and it was such a relief when we first met her, she was lovely. So down to earth and friendly, after meeting her I instantly felt at ease. I had to produce a sample in a private room while Hannah waited in the waiting-room. After this Hannah and I went into to meet Dr Sevket who was lovely, he spoke some English, but Andri was there to explain everything and translate for us. Hannah then had an external ultrasound to check how thick the lining of the womb was - All showing ok. We paid the 4500 Euro fee on this day as we didn't like the idea of carrying this amount of cash around with us. That was it for the day, Hannah was told not to go in the Pool or sea after this day. So we had 5 days to enjoy Cyprus before we had to go back in for transfer. Northern Cyprus was lovely the people were so friendly and everything was so cheap out there. I think we took about £700 spending money which was more than enough for the week. Andri kept us upto date with how everything was going via WatsApp which was nice and re-assuring. On transfer day we were told that there were 6 healthy embryos and we had 3 put back in. This process took no more than 10 minutes. Hannah then had to lie down for 2 hours. The nurses offered to get food ordered to the hospital if we wanted. After this it was time to say good by to everyone. It was all very emotional, the whole process from start to finish just felt right. The hospital was clean and tidy and the staff all friendly, I really couldn't fault the place at all. We flew back later that evening after buying the meds locally for about the equivalent of £250. We did a blood test 2 weeks later and got a positive this week Hannah did the stick test and she got another positive. We are both so Happy, and can't thank Dogus Fertility, Andri, and Dr. S enough. Andri responded to every email quickly (Even on a Sunday) We are booked in for an Ultrasound next week as requested.

North Cyprus IVF

(01) 901 0176 ext: 65491 Nicosia, Cyprus
Rating from 4 Reviews I still feel confident and comfortable using this clinic and will continueJudith, London, 28 Jan 17

I recently had IVF using donor eggs, this was my second time having this procedure at this clinic. I had this treatment done due to being diagnosed with unexplained fertility and I had one failed IVF using my own eggs in UK. I was later informed by my fertility doctor that I have poor ovarian reserve. Doctor Savas was very professional, empathetic and appears to be genuine. Ahmet was very good at communication and kept you informed at every stage before arriving in Cyprus. I felt safe in allowing Dr Savas to provide the treatment that I needed. I have now developed a trusting relationship with the clinic knowing that the appropriate test will be carried out on the donor before accepting her as suitable. Although this was my second failed cycle with this clinic I still feel confident and comfortable using this clinic and will continue until I have my child /children. The treatment was good value compared to UK and my patient co-ordinator make sure that all medications were available for me before returning to the UK. I chose this clinic as I had previously received treatment there and wanted to continue due to the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. My patient co-ordinator A. was wonderful and organised, also my nursing assistant M. was caring and shows compassion. I enjoyed my visit as it is always a pleasure returning to the clinic. Staff are happy and it would appear as though they enjoy their work, the environment was friendly and warm.

I was treated as person and I really felt comfortableJudith, London, 19 Mar 16

I had IVF with donor eggs, as I had failed IVF in UK and was informed that my ovarian reserve was low. The price was excellent compared to the UK, I think the procedure cost just under £4000 (excluding medications and test) I was a bit sceptical about travelling to Northern Cyprus to do IVF procedure as I was scared that because of my ethnic background I would be treated differently, but this was not so. I had a wonderful time, the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. My ethnicity was not important to staff, I was treated as person and I really felt comfortable. Doctor Savas is very experience, knowledgeable and is an expert in his field. On entering the reception area on my first visit I was greeted by staff, one staff in particular called me by my name. The clinic was clean and the atmosphere was one of warmth. I chose this clinic because after sending my medical records to them the team was able to sit together and discussed my situation. I later received a detailed emailed from them discussing my medical records step by step and outlining the best treatment route to take based on findings from my previous results here in the UK. I was impressed and this led me to believe that the team was knowledgeable. All my emails were answered promptly and they were able to give accurate answers to my questions.

Rating from 10 Reviews You will not find a better team to take you on your journey to parenthoodJane, COUSSAC BONNEVAL, 03 Feb 16

I had embryo donation at the last minute as had planned egg donation due to age (42) but had no fertilised eggs by day 3 due to issue with partner's sperm. UR were amazing; organised the embryo donation right away so that there was no delay to my treatment and I was able to go ahead with the transfer on the planned date of 16 January 2016. Had 3 x day 5 frozen donated embryos transferred. Fantastic treatment, very personal and caring, clinic spotless and extremely professional yet friendly. Answered all questions thoroughly and always there to help. Best you could wish for in a very emotional and challenging time We researched thoroughly many clinics all over Europe and Cyprus. We chose UR because they were the most responsive, informative, professional, helpful, supportive and caring from day 1! Never a delay in response to our many questions, always available to help and very caring. We were very impressed and continue to be by their consistent excellent service and ongoing support. Could not wish for better staff and excellent, spotlessly clean facilities. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone considering treatment. They are excellent in every way and great value for money. Thank you so much to each member of the team as every one of you has been fantastic throughout this very emotional time. The clinic was very patient when my bank transfer payment was delayed by my bank. They remained very helpful and patient with our many, many questions. They responded super fast every time we contacted them. They made us feel very confident and well looked after and they really do care about each patient. Their language skills are excellent so you have nothing to worry about there. Our egg donor had given eggs successfully twice before. UR successfully gathered 8 healthy eggs from her for our cycle. They kept us fully informed throughout the whole process. Very sadly, only 2 eggs fertilised due to an undiagnosed issue with my partner's sperm (Spermogram done in France not at the clinic). We were devastated when we found out and UR sent a taxi to pick us up and meet with the doctors to understand more straight away. They arranged taxis to/from the clinic from our accommodation for all of our visits free of charge) Very sadly we ended up with no embryos to transfer by day 3. However the clinic explained all of our options very clearly and organised donated frozen embryo transfer with donor matches right away so we could proceed with a transfer on the planned date. Since my return home they have been super supportive and caring. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about them, only go for it, you will not find a better team to take you on your journey to parenthood. I even received personal congratulations from them individually when I got my positive result. Early days yet but hopeful. Simply, the best!!!

Embryo Donation
Egg (or embryo) donation for IVF fertility treatments, is indicated for women who, for various reasons, do not produce eggs. In these cases, it has been proven that egg / embryo donation is a very effective procedure in a wide range of problems. The indications for egg donation or embryo donation include the following conditions: Gonad dysgenesia, carrying an inheritable genetic disorder such as muscular Dystrophy or haemophilia. Such diseases can be passed on to their children. Rather than risk giving birth to a child who might suffer greatly and die at an early age, some women choose to have a chance of a perfectly healthy child via egg donation.Surgical procedures to / removal or absence of ovaries (ovarian damage following surgery, radiation or chemotherapy)Women born without or with under-developed ovaries (e.g. Turner’s syndrome).Poor response to ovarian stimulationFailure of multiple attempts of assisted reproduction methods (IVF, ICSI)Early menopause. This, however, occurs much earlier to some women, even in their teens or early twenties, before they would even have contemplated starting a family. This condition is called premature ovarian failure or premature menopause.Patient aged above 45 (menopause). After the menopause a woman is no longer capable of conceiving because her ovaries stop producing eggs and sex hormones.
