My experience was very good, all staff extremely knowledgeable and willing to address any concerns. My procedure was a very smooth experience. I had 4000 grafts done and am very pleased with how everything turned out. I booked to visit Mcan in March and was thoroughly pleased with the consultation pre-surgery and results in post-surgery seem good. However, it is only 2 weeks after the operation and full results aren't expected for another 9-12 months. The help and advice were given to me before booking was excellent. The clinic itself was lovely, very clean, modern and had a family feel to it. It is situated in the Levent area of Istanbul which is very nice. One area for improvement is the hotel, Troya. The staff are very friendly and helpful but the hotel itself isn't great. The rooms are small. The walls are too thin and the decor needs updating. They were refurbishing the rooftop terrace when I stayed so maybe the rooms are next. The doctor at Mcan is lovely and her team are very efficient and friendly. Good English have been spoken all around. Would recommend. Thanks!

I'm so happy I chose this clinic. Did a lot of research and talked to many clinics. Rabia and Ahmet did a fantastic job. Also, I didn't feel any pain during the transplant which was important for me. I think that's because their doctor gave me sedation, I slept most of the time. The hair grew well, I look so different now. Overall, it was a great experience.

I am a cardiovascular surgeon. Hair loss was a big problem for me these last years. My friends (docs) encouraged me for hair transplantation but I could not decide. Estenbul Health had the highest ratings and best value for hair transplants. I had mine done here at the end of June. it’s difficult to judge the results at this stage, because the final outcome is usually only visible after 12 months. It took a full day to do the transplant (which is about 8 hours). The only discomfort I had was due to the anaesthetic. When the needle pierces your scalp, there’s a slight sting, but they numb your head so you don’t feel anything during the actual procedure. The clinic had pleasant staff who took good care of me. This was my first time visiting a clinic like this, so I don’t have any other reference point, but I will say this: the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. For them, it was about so much more than just the surgery. I was even fetched from the airport and taken to the hotel. My translator from Kazakhstan was very nice and helped me understand what the doctor was saying. It was because of her support and the excellent information she provided, that I ended up choosing this clinic. I’m still in touch with her now. I send monthly progress photos that she forwards to the doctor. It’s likely I’ll return in 12 months to have some more follicles inserted. This time around they focused mainly on the front, sides and top. The back of my head might need more attention, but this will all depend on the results I see in a year.
