David McCartney - Swords Acupuncture

62 Seatown Villas, Swords
Rating from 2 Reviews The problem has now subsided following 4 appointmentsRay, Ireland, 23 Nov 16

Having enquired at a few clinics in the Swords area, I chose David's practice as it was very quick in responding to my enquiries and available for an appointment the very next day. I went into the appointment with whiplash and through acupuncture the problem has now subsided following 4 appointments. The clinic itself looked very well, and David was a really nice guy and explained everything to me. If I ever have another similar experience I wouldn't hesitate in going back here, in fact I'd look forward to it. I found the treatment to be good value. It was a very good experience

It was a very positive experienceJeanette, Oldtown, 04 Mar 14

The website quoted prices between €40 and €60. I am being charged €100 for 2 visits. I had no waiting time and was seen promptly. The office is easy to find. I have only attended the first visit so far. David appears quite knowledgeable and took a holistic history. The session was very good and included acupuncture and some massage. I was also given stretches to do on my own time. It was a very positive experience.

Massage €10  -  €80
Chinese massage is a form of therapy, which involves applying structured therapy to the soft tissues of the body or successively to the whole body. Chinese massage can be used to heal injury, relieve stress, manage pain and improve circulation. Chinese Massage can also be used to manipulate acupuncture points to lose weight, clear congestion, ease digestion problems and calm anxiety. Sessions typically last anything from 20 – 45 minutes and pricing is directly correlated to time.
Reflexology Up to €40
Reflexology is a gentle non-invasive therapy based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears that correspond to every organ gland and system in the body. By stimulating these reflexes, reflexology encourages deep healing and tranquil relaxation. This therapy is particularly beneficial for joint mobilisation, migraine, sinus, digestion, back problems and stress related conditions as it discharges negativity and stimulates the body’s own immune system for self-healing. It can also enhance general well-being so why not book yourself a treat and pop into your local Care Cure Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine for a soothing reflexology session. Sessions typically last about 35 minutes and prices vary with time allowed for treatment.

Rating from 8 Reviews Felt relaxed and well after my treatmentGuida, Dublin, 29 Jul 15

I suffered from depression for many years. He was approachable, explain everything that I asked and the session was very straight forward. I felt relaxed and well afterwards and It has had a great impact on my life. I find Mr Anders a very good professional, helpful, easygoing, and most of everything, human and honest. I attended at Mr Anders house. I was apprehensive but afterwards I thought it was as good as. The space is nice and relaxing and I was back for a next session which felt as good. I will be back to tackle my next rock.

Deep Tissue Massage From €60
Deep tissue massage is effective because of its technique - consisting of slower, stronger massage that stimulates deep into muscles. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the fibers of the muscles, tendons and fascia. In many cases, a deep tissue massage has replaced the classic Swedish massage in terms of frequency of use. Whereas visitors to any spa around the country may have traditionally sought out a massage that simply relaxed, now they are seeking a massage that also stimulates, conditions, and heals.

Rating from 3 Reviews I highly recommend Emma and her team at ZestCaroline, Ireland, 10 Jul 16

I've always had issues with my skin over the years mainly acne and have tried all the usual creams and lotions which mostly because of the harsh ingredients just led my skin to become dry and irritated. I've been attending the zest clinic in swords just under 3 months and have noticed a significant improvement in the condition of my skin. I am using the Image range of cleansers and moisturisers and taking the skin omegas+ skincare supplements and along with a course of IPL treatments and facials I now even in this relatively short period of time am so much more confident about my skin and the results are in the way my skin now looks. I highly recommend Emma and her team at zest . I have finally found after years of searching the best possible treatment for my skin inside and out.

Rating from 18 Reviews The physio treatment was professional, comprehensive and very effectiveAnonymous, Ireland, 03 Feb 14

Physiotherapist / Physical Therapist Consultation I managed to get a last minute appointment for a painful back. The physio treatment was professional, comprehensive and very effective. My practitioner, Juliana, was skilled, and used a combination of laser, dry needling, deep massage and stretching. In 45 minutes I went from hobbling up the stairs to skipping down them. The entrance way was a bit off-putting, but the clinic itself was immaculate, warm, and well equipped.
