Johns Green Chiropractic Clinic - Chiropractic Clinic in Ireland

John's Green Chiropractic Clinic

Johns Green, Johns Green, Kilkenny
Many people are looking for a more natural approach to their healthcare. Chiropractic uses no drugs or surgery and is extremely safe. Published research is now validating the results that chiropractic patients have experienced over the last 100 years. Chiropractic is a highly cost-effective health strategy for both patients and third-party payers. Today's chiropractors are highly-qualified professionals who are committed to helping individuals of all ages achieve improved health and function. Chiropractic care is aimed at the detection and correction of abnormal joint movement and position. Although chiropractic care is often focused on the spine , care frequently involves treatment of other areas of the neuromusculoskeletal system. After thorough examination and analysis, chiropractors use carefully controlled and directed pressure (adjustments) to restore proper spinal and other joint function and thereby reducing interference to the nervous system (interference to the nervous system can include leg pain, arm pain, headaches, altered blood pressure and balance problems along with many more, the nervous system is the control centre for everything in the body). Chiropractors also recognise the importance of nutrition, exercise and other lifestyle factors on overall health and will often give patients advice on these topics. Doctors of Chiropractic undergo a minimum 4-year full-time university education with an emphasis on neurology, diagnostic imaging, physiology, and spinal

Get Back Health Chiropractic - Chiropractic Clinic in Ireland

Get Back Health Chiropractic

9 Herbert Street, Dublin, Dublin 2
We are a chiropractic clinic located near the city center. We've been serving the people of Dublin with optimal chiropractic care for a number of years, but are always happy to see new patients. We offer a range of techniques if you happen to already be familiar with one or have particular concerns regarding chiropractic adjustments, but our clinicians are also adept at determining the most appropriate technique for patients who have no preference.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger point therapy is a soft tissue technique, similar to a short, yet specific massage. It focuses on working out singular tight points within muscles, rather than the muscle as a whole, to remove waste products and allow for muscle relaxation. Both doctors typically include a brief session of trigger point therapy in addition to traditional chiropractic care, though can also perform a session entirely of trigger points.
Posture Management
Posture, especially in the workplace and in sports, can lead to repetitive stress injuries damaging joints and tightening muscle groups. Both our doctors can help with any particular concerns you may have regarding your posture. Postural changes will require patience as it's essentially a changing of habits, so the most important thing is to stick with it and not get discouraged.
Ergonomic Assessments and Advice
Ergonomics refers to the way you move and position yourself in the workplace. Often simple things such as chair height and position, desk height, the type of computer you use, and where your tools are positioned can be changed to decrease the strain placed by yourself on your body. If concerned about your ergonomics, try to get a very clear idea of what your workplace looks like and how you're normally positioned before coming in so that we can give you the best advice.

Could not be happierSimon, Ireland, 20 06 22

Having never had my back and spine looked at previously and after 10+ years of carrying excess weight, I have been incredibly lucky to find Dr Chenot. She has been a magician working on re-adjusting me and alleviating a lot of stress as well as increasing my range of motion and overall allowing me to feel a lot more positive about myself. She also does a wonderful job of explaining exactly what's happening and how what she is doing is going to relieve what is ailing me. The front-desk staff is incredibly friendly also. Never have to wait more than 1-2 mins after arrival before being seen and they send reminders 24 hours before the next appointment to ensure a smooth experience. Could not be happier!

My intention is not to run a conveyor belt chiropractic practice. Rather, I aim to create an atmosphere of trust through a confident, friendly approach, giving time to listen, advise and treat, therefore providing a safe and natural health are for the whole family. This will lead to a long relationship between patient and doctor. I treat every patient in the way that I would want to be treated myself, and I always remember and respect the fact that you have put your trust in me.The clinic is situated on the ground floor for easy accessibility and there is plenty of car parking. Appointments are available out of normal working hours as well as on Saturdays.Every new patient that attends the clinic will receive a follow up courtesy call, usually within 24 hours of their first appointment, to make sure any questions or queries are answered. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising. So when you personally recommend a friend, family member or work colleague to me, as a sign of my appreciation, you will receive a €10 voucher to use towards your next appointment.

Dry needling or myofascial trigger point needling is a treatment therapy using accupuncture needles to deactivate trigger points. Dry needling performed by a Sligo Physical Therapist/Physiotherapist can be very effective in alleviating pain or dysfunction in the skeletal muscle. Used correctly, this technique can be very effective in helping with muscle, nerve and joint pain. At Sligo Physical Therapy/Physiotherapy we use dry needles to treat a range of conditions like back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain. Dry needles are solid filiform needles that are inserted into the muscle. Acupuncture is an eastern based philosophy based on the theory of chi flow throughout the bodys meridians. Dry needling is a western philsophy.
