Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy - Remedy Clinic

Psychotherapy:

Psychotherapy is a longer term and more in-depth process than supportive counselling. It requires both client and therapist to engage at a much deeper level, to a relational depth. Within the therapeutic alliance, the client can expect to confront and understand many underlying issues that can be a part of, or indeed the cause of their overarching issues and problems. Psychotherapy requires a courageous curiosity, and needs to be facilitated by a professional practitioner, who has received the correct training to properly facilitate the process. Remedy Clinic houses professionally trained psychotherapists that practice numerous psychotherapeutic orientations. There are a number of different psychotherapeutic orientations, that utilize different methods to facilitate their respective process of therapy. Due to this, some clients will find some forms of therapy more suitable for them. In order to make an informed decision please refer to the short brief on each discipline, and then follow the link to the therapist page to find your therapist, by orientation / discipline

Our Therapists

Our practicing therapists are qualified and accredited by (or are pre-accredited members of) the prominent accrediting bodies, such as the IACP (Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), and the IAHIP (Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Therapy) among others. Please see each individual therapist’s profile for a more in-depth look at their practice, qualifications and the areas in which they specialise. We work in line with upcoming regulatory standards.
