Biography:
Ann O'Hanlon graduated from UCD with a degree in Psychology, following which she completed a Masters in Business Studies at the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, specialising in Organisational Behaviour. She is a professionally qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist, holding a Graduate Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, from DCU. She also holds a Certificate in Advanced Clinical Skills from Turning Point. She has completed a Foundation Course in Psychosynthesis, and also courses in Solution Focus Based Brief Therapy.In addition to her own private practice in Drumcondra, Ann practices at Catherine Keers Psychotherapy Centre, Monkstown, Co. Dublin. She has practised at Turning Point, the Student Health Centre, University College Dublin, the UCD Students’ Union, and at the HSE Tus Nua in Kildare. Her client base extends from young adults through all life stages, with clients from different cultural and social backgrounds. Presenting difficulties may include, e.g. Relationships, Family Issues, Abuse, Gender, Sexuality, Sexual Identity, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, Panic attacks, Bereavement, Bullying, Terminal illness, Infertility, PND, Depression, Self-harm, Self-Esteem, Adoption, AIDS/HIV, Anger Management, Depression, General Counselling, Loss and Grief, Spirituality, Trauma, Stress, Personal Development, and Work related issues.
