Really pleased with the treatment I received from aintree Orthopedic clinic. Found the staff friendly and helpful and Nicki who treated me was great... even going beyond my allocated time treating me. Unfortunately due to financial difficulties I explained I may not have the money for another visit, but they were very understanding of my situation, hopefully this situation improves and I can book a second visit. All in all very pleased.

Fertility Acupuncture from £40
Traditional Chinese Acupuncture is a useful aid to fertility treatment. It is also used to enhance IVF. Its main use is to draw the circulation of energy  and blood to the uterus. However, acupuncture is also a relaxant and where adrenaline can be reduced, this may enhance the chances of a successful pregnancy. Within the treatment package, I also teach yoga for fertility and relaxation techniques. IVF treatment, in particular is stressful and it is important that adrenaline levels are modified as far as possible. The cost of a treatment package is £120 for each course of 5 treatments. Phase 1 (preparation stage) Treatments take place on a weekly basis to encourage circulation of qi and blood. Phase 2 (hormones are down regulated) Treatment is aimed at side effects and relaxaation. Phase 3 (hormonal stimulation) During this phase I rely on feed-back from the hospital/patient and work to support treatment given.  Phase 4 (retrieval) One treatment before oocyte retrieval. Phase 5 (transfer stage) One treatment before and one treatment after transfer, each as close as possible to transfer.

18 years ago I had radical surgery for a life-threatening medical condition, which thankfully was successful, but left me with severe pain in my hips and made it difficult to walk. For about 15 years I was prescribed very strong pain killers (500 ml co-codomal / Solfodol) by my GP to be taken 2x4 times per day, and although I took these they still didn't take the pain away fully. My husband heard about Dr Lily & Dr Peter from a work colleague, so I decided to try them out. The initial consultation was very in-depth, and acupuncture treatment was recommended, which I decided to have. After the first course, I felt a great inprovement in my condition and experienced a marked reduction in my pain level, two more treatments followed over the next two weeks with truly remarkable results. The result was truly amazing, and that was 2 years ago, since then I have NEVER needed to take any sort of pain killers, and my life now is pain-free.
