Laparoscopic, General Surgeon and Endoscopist Dr. Copp graduated from the University of Queensland in 1982, Obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1991 and has been performing laparoscopic surgery since its introduction to Australia in 1990. He has been doing Laparoscopic Gastric Banding as treatment for morbid obesity since 2000.

Is a experienced registered nurse. Some of her further qualifications are in the areas of psychological and psychiatric patient care. Benita co-ordinates the care of all the patients who wish to undergo lap banding and provides out of hours telephone service for our patients.
