What is Cryotherapy? Cryotherapy is a procedure that uses extreme cold to destroy unwanted tissue – most unwanted skin lesions can be treated in this way, including as warts, moles, skin tags and verucas amongst others. How Does it Work? Tissue cells are destroyed during the procedure when they are rapidly brought down to a low temperature forming ice crystals. The ice crystals break down the structure of the cell and water then fills the surrounding area creating a blister. Healing occurs within 1 to 6 weeks depending on the depth of the freeze. Is it painful? There may be some tingling with the initial freezing, but most patients get an anaesthetic effect from the extreme freezing temperatures. More of a pinching sensation occurs when the area thaws out. Some patients may have some discomfort the day after the first procedure but ibuprofen is usually adequate to alleviate this. Will there be scarring? Typically cryosurgery leaves the least amount of scarring of any form of lesion removal because it causes the least damage to the connective tissue. The area of skin treated will appear lighter than the surrounding skin which usually darkens with new tanning. How many treatments are required? For most conditions, cryosurgery is a permanent removal. Some conditions are harder to remove than others, and in delicate areas a shorter freeze time with repeat procedures may be required to achieve a final result with the least damage to surrounding skin. In other cases, where the condition is deep (such as stubborn warts or verucas) several aggressive treatments may be required to achieve total removal. Yeah had appointment with Dr Somji, after initial review and planned treatment to achieve my requirements, today was for Fillers to my cheek area, due to age and weight lose my face was drawn in looking tired. Dr Somji, is a Magician and makes me feel and look 1000 times better, with a natural look which is most important to me, with no pain whatsoever as I'm a baby like that. There are several treatments available to treat hyperpigmentation and they include topical treatments with specially prescribed cosmeceuticals and Micro-needling. The Hyperpigmentation Regime includes products that address overproduction of melanin, encourage exfoliation, and provide sun protection. Broad-spectrum UV sun protection is of paramount importance to treat this condition and prevent its reoccurrence. It is important to discuss your treatment regime for both in-clinic and at-home with your practitioner in a full consultation, prior to embarking on a course of treatment. Micro-needling is a non invasive procedure which is performed in-clinic, where tiny needles are either rolled or punched in to the skin. This encourages healing by means of collagen production. Micro-needling also allows for any cosmeceuticals or prescribed treatments to be absorbed in to the skin for a higher level of efficacy. A course of treatments are usually advised in order to product the best results. There may be a little discomfort during treatment, however, in more aggressive treatments you may be given the option for a topical anaesthetic. You may experience some redness and the feeling of sunburn following the treatment, however this should disappear within a few hours.

I am so pleased with my watercolour tattoo from Graham, it is absolutely perfect and far exceeds what I thought possible. I chose this clinic as I wanted someone who specialises in watercolour tattoos as I wanted specific colours. Graham was so patient and kind on my first consultation and I left there feeling full of hope. When he contacted me nearer my tattoo date with a picture of the tattoo he had designed I was honestly blown away and didn't think it was possible. On the day of my tattoo, he was so considerate and professional I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Graham constantly checked I was ok and explained exactly what he was doing at each stage. I was absolutely thrilled when I saw the finished tattoo and can't recommend him enough. I am so proud of my tattoo and have had so many compliments, I am so happy with my whole experience.
