I graduated with a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Certificate in Clinical medicine. I have done additional training in Auricular acupuncture and Cosmetic acupuncture.  Professional Body: I am a member of the ACI. The Acupuncture Council of Ireland is responsible for regulation and maintenance of a Register of Acupuncturists. Only fully qualified and insured practitioners can become members of the organisation. All members are bound by the Codes of Ethics and Code of Practice, which is Strictly Enforced by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Council of Ireland, thus offering a guarantee of confidence to any patient seeking treatment. I am fully insured. I carry Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance Cover. It is a condition of membership of the ACI that each member carries Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance Cover. It is approx. 4 miles from Ballineen/Enniskean and 6 miles from Clonakilty. On a first visit, I will take a full medical history and talk to you in depth about your health problem. The appropriate treatment will then follow. A first visit with treatment will usually take  up to 1 hour 30 mins. Subsequent visits will be from 45 mins to 1 hour. All acupuncture needles used are single use and pre-sterilised in accordance with Acupuncture Council of Ireland code of practice.   Appointments available between 9am - 9pm  Mon - Fri. and 2pm - 6pm Sat.  Visits by appointment only.

My name is Mary Dolan Watters and I gained my licentiate in Acupuncture from The College of Medical Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (CMATCM) in Ireland. I am a member of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland, members of the ACI are approved by Aviva, VHI, Laya Healthcare and HSA for Out-Patient insurance purposes. After graduating, I worked in China at the Shuguang Hospital in Shanghai, which is affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
