Since 2011 BVK introduced patented EVRF radiofrequency method patented by the Belgium Company F Care systems. Unlike the Closure FAST (VNUS) system 3 forms of catheters and thermoregulation needle is especially developed for this method. It gives a possibility to treat all kinds of varicose veins with one method that can be applied for both the arterial veins, side branches and blood vessel webs. Advantages of the surgery – the oldest and most studied endovenous ablation method in the world. The most used method in USA. Different kind of electrodes are available; therefore it is possible to cure veins of different diameters.

Vein Stripping from 721 €
The surgery of the great saphenous vein (GSV) is performed through a 3-5 cm incision (cut) in the skin crease of the groin. Through this cut, a special metal of plastic probe is advanced to the knee or ankle. The diseased vein gets tied to the probe and then stripped out. The wound is closed with sutures. The surgery is more accurate when the veins are marked under ultrasound guidance. Compared to minimally invasive thermal ablation techniques – laser surgery, radio frequency therapy, steam microimpulse technique and varicose sealing with biological glue, conventional vein surgery is more traumatic and requires a longer recovery period. The surgery is usually performed under general or spinal anaesthesia. After conventional vein surgeries, varicose veins can grow back (recur). This may happen due both to the surgery techniques as well as the quality of the performed surgery, which is fully dependent on a surgeon's experience. Benefits of Surgery – applicable in cases of severe or neglected varicose when other therapies are not possible to use or are not available.

Steam Vein Sclerosis from 786 €
SVS (steam vein sclerosis) method for vein treatment has been used since 2006 all over the world, more than 3.000 surgeries have been performed so far, which is sufficient to give a definitely positive evaluation of this method, acknowledges Dr. Rene Milleret. This is a system of injection into which heated sterile water steam is administered as microimpuses through a catheter with micro holes at the end. Thus contraction and closure of venous wall is achieved. SVS technique is especially innovative: it is not similar to other techniques, as steam directly affects the vein and closes it causing it even less injury. Each steam microimpulse releases 60 J of energy. The number of impulses varies depending on vein diameter.

I was extremely impressed with my treatment and the care that was given to meDavid, UK, 08 03 19

On Saturday the 23rd February, I fell on ice in Kesterciems and knocked my self out. I was collected by ambulance and taken to the hospital where I was examined and given a CT scan. I wish to thank all the staff who dealt with me and say that I was extremely impressed with my treatment and the care that was given to me. Thankfully I had done myself no harm and was discharged the same day.
