I have been having issues with my lower back for a few months and as it is hard to get into a doctor and then wait for physio, so I decided to have a sports massage. Beth got to the issue and told me what the issue is. As it is an ongoing issue I will need a few treatments. Willing to pay the price to hopefully treat the issue. Special mention to Beth, who puts you at ease and is great at what she does.

I attended the clinic due to increasing levels of pain in back, hip and knee and reduced mobility and reduction in just enjoying life. The whole team are very professional in approach. From first contact everything was explained, there were no surprises, a smooth process from assessment, treatment plan proposed, delivery of the treatment plan + homework in the form of exercises to do at home. The cost was explained from the beginning and there are payment options. My pain levels and mobility have improved after a month, sleep pattern improved and on fewer painkillers. Have returned to swimming which I love. The appointments were worked around my employment schedule. I was surprised the assessment went beyond my presenting issue with a letter for my GP to check something out. Over the years I have spent money on different shoes and trainers I thought would make a difference and various vitamins etc, over the counter creams, personal trainers. I wished I had come to the clinic years ago - A real pearl found on a beach.

This is a lot more thorough, and more formal than the consultation. A full case history, and examination is done, and an 'official' explanation of what is happening is given. if you have had any X-rays or scans, can you bring any reports with you.

At a Consultation you will be welcomed and asked to fill out a brief questionnaire relating to your general health and contact details. After watching a short video you will have a better understanding about chiropractic and how your nerves, spine and joints work and can cause pain. You will be given a tour of the clinic and introduced to your chiropractor. Your chiropractor will consult with you in confidence, asking detailed questions relating to your present complaint, past history and lifestyle. You will have the time to provide him with all relevant information. Your area of complaint, entire spine and posture will be examined thoroughly using neurological, orthopaedic and physical tests. The chiropractor uses specialised palpatory techniques which will note changes in your muscle tone and joint movement patterns. These motion tests are also carried out before each treatment to evaluate your progress. If necessary you will be x-rayed or referred for MRI. Your appointment will be made at this time, usually within a few days. Each subsequent treatment session lasts approximately 15 minutes, and the total number of treatments will depend on the nature of your complaint.
