At your first visit, the chiropractor will take a full and detailed medical history and carry out a thorough physical, orthopaedic, neurological and chiropractic examination. Other investigations might also be necessary, such as X-rays or MRI scans. The chiropractor will do what is possible to ease symptoms, but treatment cannot be guaranteed at the first visit. This will depend on the nature of the problem, the acuteness of symptoms on the day and whether x-rays have been taken. If it is appropriate, the chiropractor will treat you.

I don`t leave reviews. This is an exceptional case. I was amazed at the level of professionalism from my first assessment. I came to see Dave with a week-old scan of my body that was showing no sign of trouble, however, I was suffering from severe lower back pain for more than 10 years and no medical nor any other practitioner could identify the problem. My right side of the body was affected the most which would result in pain in my leg and also a feeling of discomfort in the so-called shoulder blade area. The amazement continued throughout the treatment as I felt the improvement after every session. Dave is an amazing guy with a great level of care, knowledge, and just plain friendliness. I still see him only once a month now. It is not just to keep my body in check, It is a pleasure to spend time in great company.

Initial Consultation During your first visit the chiropractor will perform a full case history and routine series of Postural, Orthopaedic, Neurological and Chiropractic examinations before treatment is commenced. Motion palpation will assess the function of each spinal joint in order to determine the levels of restriction. There will be a follow-up appointment when the chiropractor will discuss with you, your examination results and the care plan recommendation most suitable for your condition. Additional supportive measures which will assist in your recovery (ergonomics, postural advice, nutrition and exercises) will also be advised. If deemed appropriate, X-Rays studies or MRI scan imaging may be considered for referral. Treatments - follows the Initial Consultation function of the patients need.

Outstanding! I first attended Gentle Family Chiropractic having been on A & E the previous evening in so much pain I could barely move. What I really appreciated is how Dr. Rosemary took time to map all possible traumas going right back to my childhood. She explained how what I was feeling was not skeletal or muscular, and that it was the nerves, she related that to hardware and software and as an IT person, that context was very important to me. She isolated the source and commenced treatment. Between the first week and today, my treatment has made a world of difference. I am still on the journey but I am grateful and fully confident that my treatment will result in full recovery.
