Dr. J. Scott Williamson received his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering/Biology from the University of New Brunswick in 1985, followed in 1989, by his Doctor of Medicine from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario.
A rotating Internship at Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, Alberta completed Dr. Williamson’s basic medical training.
Resident training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was at the University of British Columbia from 1990 – 1995. He obtained the highest standing in Canada when he completed his specialty exams with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Following this, Dr. Williamson continued with advanced fellowship training at the University of Toronto and the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.
