During his medical training at the Erasmus University and the Academic Hospital in Rotterdam, Jeroen Stevens PhD on May 22, 1991. In the latter hospital was also completed training as a plastic surgeon. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Plastic Surgery (NVPC) has since 2000 a member of the professional interests commission of this Vereninging and is in the current board of ISAPS Netherlands ( International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery ), the international arm of the Dutch Society for Aesthetic Surgery (NVEPC). First Dutchman he also has a full registration as a cosmetic plastic surgeon on the Cote dAzur in France.

During several internships and visits abroad at very reputable clinics and some of the most famous plastic surgeons in the world including USA, France, England and Mexico was an extensive experience in reconstructive and especially aesthetic plastic surgery.
So far published 34 scientific publications of his hand. He has over 60 scientific lectures on various subjects. He has several new surgical techniques introduced in the Netherlands, including:
endoscopic forehead lift
S-Lift (2/3rds of a neck face lift by only half of the incision)
lipofilling (new technology according to Coleman - filling with own fat),
midfacelifting with SOOF lift (the extended lower eyelid)
vetbehoudende eyelid surgery (instead of classical eyelid surgery which often by vetresectie hole empty eyes remain)
neck face-lifting with explicit vertical vector (lateral SMASectomie)
neck face-lift with only an incision in the quarry behind the ear (U-facelift)
tummy tucks, with an invisible umbilical scar in the navel of the bottom instead of visible around the navel on the epidermis)
breast lift according with minimal incisions in the breast fold
most recently, the APTOS-or Feather Lift (traction wires with barbs make long incisions unnecessary and give facelifts but by an incision of 1 cm).
Frequent colleagues to visit plastic surgeons or by Dr Stevens workshops and demonstration operations (recently breast lift, see blog for diary of the operated patient) given to fellow medical specialists on the above techniques. Dr. Stevens is frequent medical expert in jurdische conflicts.
Dr. Stevens specializes in aesthetic and cosmetic surgery of the face, breasts and belly.
He has since November 2006 inspector Surgery Resources Facility for the International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery .
