Dr Babar Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Abdul Hakim Babar is a highly qualified and experienced Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive surgeon. He received his training in Surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine & Beth Israel Medical Center New York and residency in Plastic Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine Bronx, New York City. He is Diplomate American Boards of Surgery and Plastic Surgery. Dr. Babar is Fellow of prestigious American College of Surgeons since 1977 and has been a member of its Board of Governors for Pakistan for nine years. He is member of American Society of Plastic Surgeons since 1978 and one of the Founding members and past president of Pakistan Association of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Babar has practiced Plastic Surgery in New Jersey and Pennsylvania for 13 years and was Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton, NJ (1982-89). He moved to Lahore Pakistan in 1989 and joined Mayo Hospital,  Lahore  as consultant and Head Department of Plastic Surgery. He was instrumental in creating first full fledged Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Mayo Hospital and King Edward Medical College where he trained many young Plastic Surgeons. He served as Head of Department and Professor of Plastic Surgery (1989-2005).

Dr.Babar is currently practicing Plastic Surgery at his clinic located at a very central place in Model Town Lahore. This clinic was established in 1994 as an exclusive facility for Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. Its facilities include two fully equipped modern operation theaters with complete capability to perform all types of procedures under general as well as local anesthesia. Private rooms with facilities of air conditioning, phone and television are available in all rooms. Our staff is well trained with focus on plastic surgery and full understanding of needs of our patients and their rights to privacy. Our anesthetist is fully trained with over 15 years of experience. Surgical assistance to Dr. Babar is provided by fully trained young plastic surgeon.
