Eyelid Surgery Poland

I was diagnosed with an inguinal hernia in December last year. They told me I would have the operation by the following February under the UK National Health Service. Eventually I was told it wouldn’t be possible this year due to the pandemic. I looked to have this done privately in the UK but the cost was very high so I then looked to go abroad. Coramed had the best reviews and were extremely helpful and friendly. I had the procedure in early June.They sorted out the hotel, airport and clinic transfers. The clinic was modern and comfortable, I would recommend very highly. Including hotels and flights the cost was 25% of going private in the uk. Wrocław is also a lovely city to visit.

Treatment: Total Hip Arthroplasty, and post-op rehab. I am no stranger to ‘Health Tourism’, and contacted several clinics in other countries for the same operation – total hip replacement on one side. I contacted KCM Clinic after reading reviews and details on ‘What Clinic’ website. From that point on, I was most impressed with the speed, detailed information and costs sent by KCM, such that I decided to go ahead and have my hip replaced by them in preference to others. The UK NHS was a total non-starting failure. Every single aspect of the visit from arrival in Wroclaw to homeward journey was almost ‘micro-managed’ with superb efficiency. Transport from/to the airport, hotel arrangements, transport to/from the clinic nearby, pre-surgery assessments, surgery and hospital clinic stay, daily physiotherapy afterwards, all happened extremely smoothly. Yes, there was quite a bit of ‘waiting around’ at times during pre-op assessment, some of it caused by my own request for further cardiology assessment. The actual hip replacement operation occurred as arranged and was very straightforward. The level of care from clinic staff was exceptionally high, the coordinator was extremely helpful and accommodating at all times, the surgeon attended every day after the operation to check on progress and even changed the dressing himself, and the rehab. The physiotherapist always gave superb individual attention to maximise post-operative mobility. A very detailed discharge pack was handed to me when leaving the clinic, including CDs of all X-rays and diagnostic images, ready to pass on to the GP when returning to UK (in Polish, though – but I’m sure it can be well understood in medical circles). Can I recommend them? Without reservation! What about language? Polish is spoken throughout, but nearly everyone has a good command of English or German so communication was never an issue. I was continually impressed by the clinic, and they showed what true ‘health care’ is all about. All-in-all it has been the most positive experience, well beyond my expectations, and one that I will repeat soon for the other side! Thank you so much, KCM.

I was really nervous about going for surgery abroad but l was quickly put at ease, after landing in Poland l was greeted by Oskar who was absolutely marvelous. The doctors and nurses were also really brilliant very professional and everything in the hospital was spotless. I highly recommend ALLMEDICA, and if l needed any more surgery l wouldn't hesitate about going back.

My treatment from start to finish was first class. The staff at the clinic were very professional and the clinic itself was absolutely immaculate.
