Biography:
He completed dental training in 1991 at the University of Qld. Following three years in General practice and working as a demonstrator at the Dental school he embarked on the Queensland Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Training program. At the completion of a Medical qualification in 1998, Dr Voltz rotated through medical and surgical appointments at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and then spent a year at Ipswich Hospital as a Principal House Officer in General Surgery. Dr Voltz then went on to complete his formal Specialty training to achieve Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the Special Stream of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Since graduation, Dr Voltz has held consultant appointments at Ipswich General Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He has been involved in the training and exit examination of Specialist Trainees for the College. In 2004 he worked with partners to develop Brisbane Dental Specialist Centre where he now devotes his time to a busy private practice.

He completed his dental degree in 1993 at The University of Adelaide. He then spent 3 years based in Brisbane as a general dentist in The Australian Regular Army. Following this he spent a further 3 years in general dental practice both in Australia and overseas. He returned to Brisbane to commence his medical degree with a view to training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr Reid completed his medical degree in 2003 and following his intern year in Townsville embarked upon specialist training in various hospitals in South East Queensland. In 2009 Dr Reid received his Fellowship from The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr Reid has been with Brisbane OMS since completing his specialist training. He also is a visiting specialist at The Princess Alexandra Hospital. Dr Reid enjoys all aspects of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery ranging from the removal of wisdom teeth and placement of dental implants to facial reconstruction following trauma and corrective jaw surgery. His public hospital appointment allows him to be directly responsible for the supervision and training of the next generation of surgeons. Dr Reid is also a senior lecturer with The University of Queensland and is involved in the teaching of undergraduate medical and dental students.

Following completion of undergraduate dental studies at The University of Sydney in 1985, where Dr Peek graduated with honours, Dr Peek joined the Australian Defence Forces serving in both The RAAF and The Royal Australian Navy in postings around Australia and in Indonesia. Dr Peek commenced speciality training in Queensland in 1988 gaining his MDSc(OMS) in 1991 at The University of Queensland and is a Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the Oral and Maxillofacial Specialist Stream. Dr Peek transferred to The Royal Australian Navy Reserve in 1995 and moved back to Brisbane to commence specialist private practice which he continues in South Brisbane at the Brisbane Dental Specialist Centre. Dr Peek has held visiting appointments to The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, The Princess Alexandra Hospital, The Ipswich General Hospital and The University of Queensland. Dr Peek has a particular interest in the developing field of computer guided surgery.
