Rating from 45 Reviews The results were everything I could hope for totally solved my problemJay, US, 23 Dec 16

My Name is Jay Hood and just moved to the DR from Florida. I have lived and worked all over the globe. I was referred to Dr Jepssy by a friend and was amazed. His office was spotless, his English was perfect, his pricing was fantastic and best of all after talking with him before my procedure I made the decision to have my teeth deep cleaned without using any numbing. I was told I needed this procedure in the US my my personal dentist and he said he always puts people to sleep. This allowed me enjoy the rest of my day and not wait for my mouth to return to normal. The results were everything I could hope for totally solved my problem and no pain he watched me and was the most cautious and considerate dentist I have ever met. I was so impressed I took tow other people to see him and they were as plaesed as I am. Thank you Dr Jepssy Kind Regards Jay J Hood

Denstetica

(01) 901 0176 ext: 12052 Torre Progreso Business Center, Suite 605., Av. Lope De Vega No. 13, Santo Domingo
Rating from 11 Reviews I would definitely recommend DensteticaMike, US, 23 Sep 16

I lost my #13 tooth 15 years ago due to lack of proper care and $. Last spring I got an implant while vacationing in Ecuador. After six months I was ready for the post and crown. At Denstetica Clinic in the DR, a close exam with X-rays showed I needed more work. In all I got, in addition to the post and crown on 13, root canals and crowns without posts on 18&19, an onlay over 14 (it had a previous root canal) and I whitened my teeth as a little extra for myself. All for less than what I was quoted in NY for just the 13 treatment. I had numerous responses to my inquiry on WhatClinic, all very courteous and professional. I opted for Denstetica because Tiffany, the receptionist, speaks English and answered all of my questions and concerns immediately or she would check and respond back shortly thereafter. She is actually a dentist herself so is very knowledgeable. The main dentist, Dr.Peña, also speaks English, another added plus for me. The office is upscale and modern utilizing cutting edge equipment and procedures. They offer safe complementary ground transportation along with lodging and dining suggestions. I would definitely recommend them. The prices may be a little more expensive than others locally but you get what you pay for. We all even went out the last night for drinks and to celebrate a job well done.

A root canal treatment means that the dentist removes the cause to the pain, for example caries, if possible. There after the pulp is removed the canals cleaned and filled with again. The most common filling material is "Gutta-percha", a material similar to rubber that is cemented inside the canal. Finally a fillings or crown is made to replace the lost part of the tooth. The treatment is executed with usual anaesthetic and should be pain free. If the pulp is dead normally no anaesthetic is needed.
