B.D.S. Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) University Malaya. graduates from University Malaya in 2001 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon her graduation, she was attached to Malaysian Ministry of Health as a dental officer. She trained herself vigorously at the Alor Star General Hospital as well as the Sik District Hospital before joining SmileBay Dental Surgery (Previously Yong Dental Surgery) in December 2002. Dr Tan is currently attending courses on implantology, restorative dentistry and general dentistry as well.

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) University Malaya Resident Dentist (Endodontic) .Graduated from University of Malaya in 2006. She received her advanced training in endodontic by attending numerous short courses and workshops, which focuses on using latest instrumentation and biomechanical cleaning to remove the toughest bacterial in the root canals.

Bachelor of Dental Surgery BDS (University Malaya) Fellowship of International College of Dentist (FICD) Honorary Member of Academy of American Implant Dentistry As the founding and principal dentist of SmileBay Dental, Dr Yong constantly guides dentists on how to diagnose and treat all aspects of aesthetic and functional problems in dentistry be it a single tooth or an entire mouth, face or jaws. He has also been listed as an accredited Invisalign practitioner.Fellowship of International College of Dentistry Dr Yong was awarded Fellowship of International College of Dentistry for his contribution in clinical dentistry in 2009. He has also completed a post-graduate training in CadCam Dentistry from E4D teaching facility in Dallas, USA in 2011 and is a certified CadCam designer for Same Day Dentistry.
