What are fillings?

Fillings or dental fillings are used to repair the damaged surfaces of teeth. The surface of teeth may be damaged by small fractures, damaged enamel or decay. It takes 25 to 90 minutes to place a filling in a tooth.

What different types of fillingsare there?

Is getting a filling painful?

Patients should not eat for at least three hours till the anaesthesia wears off. They should not eat or drink anything that is too hot or too cold for a few days. They should avoid very hard food. They should take all prescribed medications correctly. They should follow correct dental hygiene and brush and floss their teeth regularly.

Castle Dental is hands down the best dental office to visit in Los Algodones. They were very thorough in explanation via email before flying down to the office in person. Saul answered all my questions and made sure he fully understood exactly what I wanted to do. Upon arrival, the front desk greeted me happily and brought me to the initial consultation. Dr. Castillo looked at my mouth and gave me his recommendations to achieve the smile I wanted. He was very clear, which I appreciated greatly. Dr. Castañeda worked on me for most of the duration of my treatment. (28 crowns, 2 extractions, 3 root canals, one implant, and bone graft) I’ve never been in a dental procedure that didn’t hurt, especially one that lasted 5+ hours a day for 3 days. The final product is exactly what I dreamed of, my smile is absolutely stunning thanks to the expertise of the Castle Dental Group. Highly recommend!!

The mold will allow a technician to make a crown that perfectly matches the drilled tooth. * Cover the tooth with a temporary crown until your permanent crown is ready.

Great low price. Good service was provided except for the second day of treatment the English speaking assistant left, so it was hard to do the treatment. Partial is good need some minor adjustment work which took a long time to finish. There is only one dentist at this clinic so if you need more adjustments to your teeth, you must be patient. The staff helped to find the hotel.

I absolutely loved Advanced Dentistry. From the moment you walk in and talk with Aaran at the front office and then get x rayed and an in depth consultation with Dr Koty you feel safe and welcomed. He laid out a plan for me and we proceeded. Dr Nelly did my crown and was gentle and thorough. I then saw Dr Gerry who did my implant and I return in 6 months for completion. I can't say enough good about this dental office. I highly recommend.
