The Team
Prof Abida Ijaz BDS D ORTH MCPS MS FICD FPFA: Prof Ijaz is a
most respected name in the country for Orthodontics in particular and Dentistry
in general, and has more than 40 years of national and International
experience. For over two decades, she has been a leader and pioneer in her
field, laying foundations for the Pakistan Association of Orthodontists and
being its first President. She is the sole Craniofacial Orthodontist in
Pakistan dealing with Dentofacial deformities including Cleft lip and Palate.
She has a vast internationally acclaimed body of pioneering research work, most
of which has been published in respected international Publications. Her other
interests are Orthodontics for the young child, Adult Orthodontics,
Multidisciplinary Orthodontics and Implant Dentistry.
Dr Junaid Israr BDS DDCS MFDS RCS (ENG) FCPS (ORTH): Dr
Junaid is a Consultant Orthodontist and an Assistant Professor in Orthodontics.
He was the youngest qualifying member of Faculty of Dental Surgery Royal
College of Surgeons of England. He received his post graduation from Queen Mary
and Westfield College, University of London and later completed Fellowship in
Orthodontics from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. He has special
interest in all modalities of Orthodontics, Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry.
