Like traditional metal braces, Spark Aligners by Ormco gradually and gently reposition your teeth in tiny increments, allowing the ligaments to stretch and contract naturally. After wearing each set of upper and lower aligners for around two weeks, the patient switches to the new pair of transparent trays. Except when you eat, clean your teeth, and floss, you'll wear your aligners for about 20 to 22 hours daily.

This is important because, without a consultation, the dentist can't proceed with any treatment. This information is written down in a treatment plan, which is essential for both the dentist and the patient. The consultation allows you to ask any questions and express any concerns you may have. This helps you make an informed decision about whether to proceed with the treatment. Your first consultation with your dentist may take a little longer than the usual 45 minutes. During this time, your dentist will ask about your medical history, so it's important to be honest.They will also examine your teeth and may even check the soft tissues of your mouth to ensure everything is in good condition and make a proper diagnosis. However, no treatment will start without further discussion with your dentist.

Dental implants are the best option for replacing your missing teeth. In fact, dental implants are the latest dental replacements dentistry can offer. However, even though they function and feel just like natural teeth and do not suffer from the weaknesses of the other options, they are expensive and are not affordable by everyone. Although, as per my thinking dental implants are still quite cost effective in view of the quality of life they permit. If, for some reason you cannot be given implants, or you do not want to choose implants, I am discussing some of the other teeth replacement options that you can consider: - Tooth supported bridge: The replacement tooth (pontic) is supported on crowns placed on healthy teeth on either side. - Removable partial dentures: The dentures sit on the gum, and take support by suction or adhesive. Grinding down of the adjacent teeth is not required. - Maryland bridges or resin-bonded bridges are used where too much chewing stress is not expected, ie, in restoring a lost front tooth. - Replacing multiple teeth: If you want to replace just one or two teeth a fixed bridge is possible as alternative to implants. - Replacing all teeth: The alternative to implants is the complete removable denture (conventional denture).

The Inman aligner is not as “invisible” as invisalign but has many of the advantages that the invsialign system has over traditional braces in that it is removable so that is doesn’t disturb your eating and oral hygiene. In additional all movements are achieved with a single aligner so there is no need to change your aligners every week. The Inman aligner can also achieve rapid orthodontics with some treatments being possible in as little as 6 weeks. The Inman aligner is also considerably cheaper than treatment with fixed orthodontics and the Invisalign system.
