What is a Panoramic X-Ray?

A panoramic X-ray is an X–ray machine that takes a two dimensional image of the entire mouth. It is quicker to take than a traditional dental X-ray and the image is clearer. A dentist can diagnose a range of problems by viewing one image.    

How is a Panoramic X-Ray performed?

Patients will be asked to stand or sit against the machine and bites a plastic blade. The machine moves around the skull of the patient to take a comprehensive image of the jaws of the patient.

I want to say thank you to the whole team of the wonderful Forest & Ray - Dentists, Orthodontists Implant Surgeons. I was in a desperate state when I went to the clinic, my pain was very long and excruciating. I called the clinic and a wonderful lady at the reception listened to me, explained and made an appointment with the doctor as soon as possible!!! And it happened in a few days! This is really very fast. You can also choose a convenient time for visiting the clinic. It is very convenient that the clinic is open on weekends. You can be in touch with the clinic staff from early morning until late at night. This is a completely patient oriented Clinic and it's wonderful!!! You feel like you're in a safe, professional place every second, talking to staff or sitting in the Doctor's Chair. Arriving at the clinic, I felt the highest professionalism of the service and the competence of the doctors. My whole mouth hurt. Two teeth were in very bad condition. First, the doctor made a thorough diagnosis, removed the nerves, then cleaned the dental canals. I begged the doctor to save my teeth. And he did. I do not speak English well and the clinic staff provided me with a Russian-speaking doctor, to whom I will be grateful all my life. Dr. Nikolaos Kasiteridis answered all my questions and was very attentive during the treatment. He communicated with the management of the clinic regarding my further treatment. He saved my teeth and my psychological health too) I am grateful to the Dr. Nikolaos Kasiteridis for his humanity and super professionalism. It was a long treatment and every time I left the clinic I felt satisfied with the treatment, the pain disappeared, and my teeth became healthier! I am also grateful from the bottom of my heart to the management of the clinic for the treatment that was provided to me for free !!! This is the highest degree of sympathy and understanding of the desperate situation in which I was. I thank from the bottom of my heart my professional doctor- Nikolaos Kasiteridis. The management of the clinic and all the wonderful Staff. There are no right words that could describe the satisfaction of a well-coordinated wonderful human and super professional team! The brilliant hygienist was full of useful advice, I especially appreciated the help as I am elderly. If only I had found this wonderful practice years ago I probably would have retained most of my teeth. The reception team was very kind and explained the bill. So pleased I found this dentist no way would I return to my previous one. I chose this clinic as my old practice expected me to wait three months for a tooth extraction. I was told I needed a specialist as the tooth was a molar. Brigstock Dental removed it on the day of my appointment with no problem no difficulty at all. Yes, it can be more expensive but it's worth it. I know if I have a problem they will help. The practice has a huge team so I feel confident there will always be help.
