Dr. Nedhal Khalifa is the leading dermatologist at DermaOne Clinic she graduated from the Arabian Gulf University in Manama, Bahrain, in 1993. She later departed to the United Kingdom to specialized in
the field of Dermatology. She spent a year at St. Thomas’ & Guy’s Hospital in London, rotating among various departments including General Medicine, with special emphasis on Rheumatology & Chest Medicine, along Professor Graham Hughes. She also worked with Professor Kevin Burnand, where she studied a wide range of vascular and venous disorders. A year later she joined St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, where she worked as a registrar and later as a senior registrar, from 1994 until 2000.
She continued her specialization and received her doctorate of Philosophy in Dermatology from Kings College, University of London, UK. She worked with Professor Malcom W. Greaves, Professor Roderick Hay and many others pioneering the field of Dermatology. She also completed her fellowship training in Cosmetic Dermatology and laser surgery with Dr Andrew Markey at the surgical and laser unit of St John’s Institute of Dermatology, London, UK.
Dr. Nedhal Khalifa is a leading, high caliber, Bahraini Dermatologist. She has special interest in psoriasis and its related disorders. She was the first to use Biological Therapy in Bahrain and has built a large experience in the management of Psoriasis patients, since. She organized the first dedicated forum for psoriasis: Bahrain Dermatology Forums 1 & 2. Dr. Nedhal is a frequent speaker in dermatological meetings and conferences. She is also a member of various International Psoriasis Advisory Boards.
Dr. Nedhal has a wide experience in the field of cosmetic dermatology including all non-invasive procedures like Botulin, dermal filler and other skin enhancement procedures. She is mastered with the lasers treatments in various applications including hair removal, scar removal, skin tightening and many others procedures too.
