What care is required after having pigmentation treatments?

Patients should place cold packs over the treatment area to reduce redness after IPL assisted pigmentation treatments. They should avoid exposure of the IPL or laser treated areas to direct sunlight. They should not use bleaching creams or face scrubs for at least a month on the IPL or laser treated areas. They should avoid touching or scratching the IPL or laser treated areas.

The consultation was so informative that I shifted my views on what I would have done and booked in for a full face thermage treatment. As I type this 3 weeks later I could not be happier with the outcome. My skin has lifted, my wrinkles have radically diminished, skin tone and collagen have improved dramatically and my wife keeps telling me how much younger I look. The outcome was dramatic but subtle enough to not draw stares or notice. I just look better and younger.
