Raman Das
Mahatyagi is a registered Ayurvedic practitioner who has lived and practiced in
Sydney since January 2000. He is a renowned scholar of yoga and Vedic
philosophy, with life-long practical experience. Raman Das strives to treat and
educate his clients drawing on the wealth of his knowledge to help the body to
regain and maintain its vitality and a balanced state of health.
YATAN means
Yoga, Ayurveda, Tantra, Astrology and Naturopathy. Our aim is to provide a
personalised holistic treatment based on the 5,000 year old traditional Indian
health system of Ayurveda.
According to
Ayurveda many types of chronic, recurrent and seasonal health problems result
from an imbalance of the elements (doshas) present within you and the surrounding
environment. Through the use of Ayurvedic herbal preparations, detoxification
and rejuvenation treatments, yoga, meditation and diet and lifestyle management
Raman Das aims to rebalance a person’s doshas to restore and improve health.
Effective relief can be obtained from many common digestive, skin, respiratory,
allergy, hormonal and lifestyle related complaints.

also have a unique selection of Ayurvedic products that Raman Das has
personally developed and formulated. These products can be used by themselves
or in conjunction with your treatment plan greatly enhancing its benefits.
Our product range includes; stainless steel neti pots, stainless steel and sterling silver tongue scrapers, Himalayan rock salt, Chyawanprash herbal jam, herbal infused massage oils for face, body and hair, gum massage oil, eyes, ears and nasal drops, herbal facial exfoliating mask and an in-depth range of books on Ayurveda, yoga and massage.
