Caroline is a complementary therapist of 14 years.   Contrary to belief, reflexology is not a 'pamper' treatment and will not simply massage or tickle your feet.  Reflexology is a sequence of movements over the feet or hands, that can result in increased relaxation and greater awareness of health, which can allow the body to heal other health problems that may be present.  Reflexology can be quite surprising for your health but you need to try it to find out!  On the whole reflexology is not ticklish, nor do I care what state your feet are in that just makes the treatment all the more relevant, though clean is always nice.  I am also a qualified Nutritional Therapist (Functional Medicine) and will give you personal advice on some dietary changes you can make to improve your overall health as well. It is approx. 4 miles from Ballineen/Enniskean and 6 miles from Clonakilty. On a first visit, I will take a full medical history and talk to you in depth about your health problem. The appropriate treatment will then follow. A first visit with treatment will usually take  up to 1 hour 30 mins. Subsequent visits will be from 45 mins to 1 hour. All acupuncture needles used are single use and pre-sterilised in accordance with Acupuncture Council of Ireland code of practice.   Appointments available between 9am - 9pm  Mon - Fri. and 2pm - 6pm Sat.  Visits by appointment only.

This Centre in South Dublin, Ireland has a team of herbalists who are dedicated to the well being of their patients. The team consists of Reflexologists, homeopaths and other natural healers. Dr Boecklin has been practicing medicine and integrated complementary and alternative medicine for 20 years. Her approach to health and healing is to provide patients with individually tailored health and well-being programs using the safest and most effective combination of treatments from the world of both conventional and complementary therapeutic systems such as Homeopathic Medicine, Homotoxicology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Auricular Acupuncture, Pediatric Acupuncture, Flower essence therapy, Medical Nutrition and Stress reduction techniques — all in the effort to treat the whole person and to empower patients in their journey towards long lasting self-healing. Dr Boecklin is a graduate from University “La Sapienza” Medical School in Rome where she also obtained her Specialist qualification in Clinical Hematology. She has worked as Clinical assistant at Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College, London in the fields of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia and Allogeneic Bone Marrow Transplantations. Becoming soon aware of the limitation of conventional medical practice she has then decided to explore different therapeutic systems to broaden her approach to healing to one that is not based solely on the Western biomedical model, but also draws from other cultures. She gained full Membership of the Faculty of Homeopathy and subsequently went on to studying acupuncture obtaining a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine issued by the Chinese Medical
