The physiotherapist took his time to explain everythingGeorge, Ireland, 01 10 22

Brian was very knowledgeable and his passion and experience for Sport was evident from the start of the session. Brian’s explanation of treatment and the injury was excellent. Brian also gave me some exercises to help prevent the issue from happening again in the future. The Cottage Clinic was spotlessly clean and nothing was a problem. Brian took his time to explain everything.

They gave me great service for the price they chargedPearse, Ireland, 28 09 18

This clinic is in a handy location, so I went to them for deep tissue massage. The results are good. Each session lasts about an hour. I was impressed with the clinic. They gave me great service for the price they charged.

Myofascial Release
Usually included as part of your massage treatment, myofascial release works on releasing fascia which surrounds all the muscles and organs in the body. Fascia should be pliable and moveable but due to injury, lack of movement, poor postural habits and trauma it can end up dehydrated and glue like. Each technique involves a gentle application of pressure that slowly allows the bodys tissues to release down to the deepest levels, reorganise without force and let go of physical restrictions. It is a mild and gentle form of stretching that has a profound effect on the body.
Deep Tissue Massage €60 - €90
Deep tissue massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue and is especially helpful in chronically tense and contracted areas. It uses mostly the same strokes as other massage styles but is much slower with a focus on sinking through the layers of muscle and connective tissue to release tension.
Sports Massage €60 - €90
Utilising a wide range of advanced techniques for injury prevention and injury rehabilitation, including trigger point therapy, soft tissue release (STR), myofascial release and advanced sports stretching.
