Reena Joshi - at Reena Joshi Osteopathic Clinic in Fetcham

Reena Joshi

Biography:

Reena qualified as a registered osteopath in 2001 from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London. She uses the traditional ‘structural’ approach to Osteopathy believing that ‘structure governs function’ i.e. if the structure is not right, how can it function correctly? Structural Osteopathy is concerned with aches and pains in the body which are treated directly through manual treatment techniques, and concerned primarily with posture, body mechanics, exercise/rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and nutrition. Reena is also trained to use Interferential therapy and Ultrasound and has experience working in an extremely busy sports injury clinic, gymnasium, cranial osteopathy clinic and multi-disciplinary practice. As well as being an osteopath Reena is a qualified teacher and has lectured on the osteopathy degree course since 2004, since then she has lectured at the Italian School of Osteopathy (ISO) and now teaches at the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine (SIOM) based at Nescot college in Ewell.
