B App Sc (Physio) Grad Dip (Manip Physio) PhD (Director) ,Sallie a founding director of Clifton Hill Physiotherapy is a highly experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne. She is internationally recognised as a leading clinician, researcher and educator in the diagnosis and management of anterior knee pain. Sallie also has a particular interest in spinal pain and has post graduate qualifications in Manipulative Physiotherapy. In addition she has many years experience working with sporting teams and athletes. Sallie is a regular lecturer and supervisor to post-graduate physiotherapy students at the University of Melbourne. She has over 40 publications in international peer reviewed journals and has co-authored three book chapters on anterior knee pain and one on core stability including in the most popular sports medicine text of all time (Brukner and Khan Sports Medicine). Sallie has been invited to speak both Nationally and Internationally on the topic of knee pain, and has received numerous awards for her research. A regular clinical supervisor and lecturer to postgraduate students, Jennifer has a special interest in women’s and men’s pelvic health, particularly persistent pelvic pain, vulvodynia and continence. Jen is currently undertaking Post Graduate studies in Pain Management through the University of Sydney School of Medicine. Jennifer has extensive experience working in hospitals and private practice in Melbourne and the UK. She has worked for many years managing sporting, spinal and musculoskeletal conditions. Having worked 15 years as senior clinician in a continence clinic, Jennifer understands the impact of bladder and bowel dysfunction on men, women and children. B AppSc (Physio) M Physio (Neurological) PhD candidate, Florey Institute of Neurosciences and Mental Health (Universtity of Melbourne) image006Brendon completed his initial physiotherapy training in Adelaide, and completed his Masters in Neurological Physiotherapy in Melbourne. He has a special interest and extensive experience in the areas of pain management and neurological physiotherapy, both in Australia and the UK. Brendon has undertaken a wide range of additional training, including Graded Motor Imagery (GMI), Vestibular Rehabilitation, Bobath facilitation of normal movement, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), Neurodynamics and Electrical Stimulation. He is a faculty member of the Neuro Orthopaedic Institute, an international organisation responsible for presenting over 100 courses on pain worldwide. He has co-written and presents the NOI course “Pain, Plasticity & Rehabilitation”, aimed at clinicians treating patients with neurological dysfunction and pain, and was involved in the curriculum development of the newly expanded “Graded Motor Imagery” 2 day course. Brendon has taught physiotherapists at post graduate level since 2002, nationally and internationally. He has regularly been involved in postgraduate physiotherapy education as both lecturer and clinical supervisor for the University of Melbourne Master of Physiotherapy course as well as the Australian Physiotherapy Association in specialty courses of neurological physiotherapy. Brendon is a senior clinician in neurological and pain management rehabilitation. He commenced his PhD in 2012 at the Florey Institute of Neurosciences and Mental Health (Melbourne Brain Centre, University of Melbourne) investigating pain treatments of stroke patients, utilising Sensory Retraining and Graded Motor Imagery.
