My intention is not to run a conveyor belt chiropractic practice. Rather, I aim to create an atmosphere of trust through a confident, friendly approach, giving time to listen, advise and treat, therefore providing a safe and natural health are for the whole family. This will lead to a long relationship between patient and doctor. I treat every patient in the way that I would want to be treated myself, and I always remember and respect the fact that you have put your trust in me.The clinic is situated on the ground floor for easy accessibility and there is plenty of car parking. Appointments are available out of normal working hours as well as on Saturdays.Every new patient that attends the clinic will receive a follow up courtesy call, usually within 24 hours of their first appointment, to make sure any questions or queries are answered. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising. So when you personally recommend a friend, family member or work colleague to me, as a sign of my appreciation, you will receive a €10 voucher to use towards your next appointment.

This practice is phenomenalPaul, Ireland, 04 12 23

This practice is phenomenal. I am a health care professional but was not aware of the benefits of current leading-edge treatment. I have had three sessions for lower back pain with Sarah and her mannerism and skill with dry needling technique was a revelation for me. I have reduced my pain level from a perception of ‘7’ out of 10 to virtually zero. Sarah is exceptional in my book. Thank you so much

Dublin Chiropractic and Disc Centre - Dr Sinead Moore

Dublin Chiropractic and Disc Centre

70 lower Mounttown Road Upper, Dún Laoghaire, Dublin
Welcome to Dublin Chiropractic and Disc Centre We are located in the heart of Dublin and accept National and International clients. Our services include: Spinal Alignment through Chiropractic care. All our Chiropractic Doctors are US trained. Spinal Decompression used for the treatment of disc injuries including bulging and herniated discs. Core Strengthening using Applied Therapeutic Mechanics. This  provides clinicians the practical ability to perform integrated passive and active therapy for musculo-skeletal disorders.  This approach aims to normalize movement impairments that are related to the patients’ complaints, as detected in the functional examination.  Using this approach, reevaluation is constantly monitored while the technique is performed to ensure a symptom free environment.  Body areas are mobilized until pain is eliminated. Active neuromuscular training is then prescribed.  These techniques are performed in the functional weight bearing position, and are continuously monitored to ensure that they are pain free throughout the intervention.  Suitable for almost all common Back, Neck, Shoulder, Knee, Pelvis, and Hip pain patients.

Sinead OLoughlin Physiotherapy and Holistic Health - Ms Sinead OLoughlin

Sinead O'Loughlin Physiotherapy and Holistic Health

6 Cumberland St, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin, 0

Chartered Physiotherapist with 25 years experience. Completed 2 Masters Degrees in Manual Therapy and Musculoskeletal Health. From early in my career I began practicing and teaching yoga and pilates and began to develop a holistic approach. This led me to studying craniosacral therapy and later visceral manipulation and somatic movement education. Most recently I've been delving deeply into study of trauma and the Nervous System as it is so involved in any chronic health problems.  As a result I have a very holistic approach that is suited both to acute injuries and chronic longstanding problems. My main interests are women's health (pelvic health/pre and post natal) and pain.  Holistic bodywork sessions will usually address body parts away from the site of pain because of the interconnectness of the fascial system.  I also teach  yoga and workshops/courses on pelvic health and the nervous system.
Biomechanical assessment from €100
Physiotherapists are trained to spot imbalances in the physical body which can lead to injury. A thorough assessment will highlight weaknesses and a specific treatment plan/exercise programme will be outlined to correct these imbalances and prevent future injury.
Physiotherapist Consultation from €100
We specialize in musculoskeletal pain with a particular interest in back/neck/shoulder/hip and pelvis. We guarantee a highly individualized approach resulting from and indepth and thorough assessment on your first visit. We also incorporate yoga and craniosacral therapy where appropriate. This applies particularly to conditions such as chronic pain and whiplash where the muscular and nervous systems tend to highly sensitized. We also use many traditional physiotherapy techniques including dry needling and myofascial release.
Dry Needling from €100
Dry needling is a great way to quickly reduce tension in specific muscles. Fantastic for sports injuries but also for those tight sore shoulders that result from stress or desk work.

Great clinic, Liam and his staff are an absolute pleasure to work with. I started attending in July 2016 and have been attending for over 5 years since then, usually twice a week. They have kept my back in great shape and guided me through any exacerbations. I wholeheartedly recommend DBC.
