Diarmuid returned from 4 years in New Zealand in 2015, where he gained invaluable experience working in University Physio and with many sports teams in the area. He has a keen interest in complex sports injury and has worked with many international competitions and professional teams such as New Zealand Tag Rugby, Tonga Tag Rugby, Scotland Rugby and the Emirates Rugby 7’s tour.
Since qualifying in 2009, Diarmuid worked in a hospital in Edinburgh for 18 months gaining experience in all areas of physiotherapy before moving into private practice. Diarmuid has a keen interest in complex biomechanical issues and motor control patterns involving low back pain and lower limb injuries. He adopts the ethos of analysing your symptoms and areas of pain to get to the root cause of your injury through a detailed analysis of your injury history and an in depth holistic assessment of the musculoskeletal system thus providing relief to even the most complex pain patterns.
