Alex, one of the two founders of Hansford & Crocker, is a graduate of the University of Hull in Sports Rehabilitation, a member of BASRaT (British Association of Sports Rehabilitators) and registered with the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) as Advanced Instructor Level Three, Level Three Advanced Fitness Instructor and L2 Gym.

As part of his degree studies he spent time with Sheffield United and Hull City football clubs as well as various rugby teams including Rotherham Titans. With Will he provided sport rehabilitation support to the Ireland Student Rugby League team at various European championships and national cup competitions.

Will graduated from the University of Hull with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation, is a member of BASRaT and registered with the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) as Advanced Instructor Level 3, Advanced Fitness Instructor Level 3 and Level 2 Gym.

As part of his degree he spent time with a number of football clubs including Doncaster Rovers and Grimsby Town. With Alex he provided rehabilitation care for the Great Britain Pioneers during their tour of Latvia in 2007.

Will is an enthusiastic dinghy sailor who currently jointly owns a RS800 but has also sailed a variety of other boats since his youth.  For much of this he crewed a 29er in which he achieved a number of good results, including 7th in the the 2003 29er World Championship in Spain.

More recently he won the Vago National Championships in 2006. During the summer of 2007 he was 6th in the Laser 4000 National Championships and later the same year won the RS300 Inland Championships.

After coming 2nd in the 2008 RS300 National Championships, he sold his boat to buy a RS800 with his 29er helm, Roger Philips.
