About Mary Brennan Chartered Psychologist
Mary is a Chartered Psychologist member of the Psychological Society of Ireland since 2005; an accredited psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with the Irish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy since 2000. Mary has experience of working with teenagers and adults in educational second and third level settings. In addition Mary is working in private practice since 2000 working with Employee Assist Programmes, Motor Neurons Society, Cancer Support Services, Headway, LAYA and VHI Health Insurance providers. Since 2011 Mary is a CPL Agency Psychologist working with HSE National Counselling Services in the South East.

Mary is an integrative therapist with training in a variety of therapeutic approaches including Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Existential Therapy as well as Emotion-Focused Therapy.
Mary has amassed a wide range of clinical experience since 2000 working with a wide range of problem areas including anger, trauma, low self-esteem, bereavement, self harm, anxiety/panic, loss of meaning/purpose and relationship difficulties.
Mary is practicing from the Carlow/Laois border and is situated close to Carlow, Kilkenny, Athy Co Kildare, Baltinglass, Co Wicklow, Ballon, Bagenalstown and, Gowran Co. Kilkenny and Bunclody Co Wexford.
