About Tatjana Simakova Psychotherapy Services
Tatjana Simakova holds a BA in Counselling Skills and Psychotherapy from ICHAS and a certificate in Art Therapy from the CIT Crawford College of Arts and Design where she is also currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy. She practices adhering to the guidelines and Code of Ethics of the APCP.
She presently works as a private psychotherapist with adults and young people as well as a group facilitator.
In her professional journey, she successfully worked with various issues that impact people’s lives. These issues include relationship problems, stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts and self-harm, new direction in life, self-identity and others.
She uses humanistic and integrative approaches in psychotherapy, drawing from multiple theories and approaches to offer the most suitable counselling experience to the client. In psychotherapy, she uses Person-Centred Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), NLP Techniques, Mindfulness, Creativity and Art Therapy.
She developed Mindfulness Through Art Workshops, a six-week program designed to help the participants connect with their subconscious mind, reprogram negative or unwanted thoughts and habits, learn how to set and reach worthy goals, and unleash the creative force and power within.
