About Hopeman Counselling & Psychotherapy - Ranelagh


Hopeman provides a fully qualified and experienced counselling- and psychotherapy service in Ranelagh, Dublin City Centre  and Stepaside. 

 

Are you feeling depressed or anxious? Have you experienced the loss of a loved one or are you facing difficulties in your workplace? Are you in a stressful relationship or has life become a struggle and you don’t quite know why? No matter what is causing your distress, counselling and psychotherapy provide very effective help and support! 

Hopeman Counselling and Psychotherapy was established by Michael Hofmann. Michael is awarded a graduate diploma in integrative counselling and psychotherapy by Dublin City University (DCU) and a diploma in integrative clinical psychotherapy including CBT (TPTI). He is affiliated with the IAHIP (Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy) and adheres in full to their code of ethics. Michael provides a strictly confidential counselling and psychotherapy service in English as well as in German.

Michael's approach to therapy is humanistic, person centred and integrative. Integrative means that Michael is trained in different modalities of counselling and psychotherapy such as Gestalt, CBT, Psychodynamic and Psychosynthesis. Applying an integrative approach enables Michael to address each client more individually in order to find the best fitting therapy plan. Michael believes that a person generally has the necessary resources in order to deal with his/her struggles and to enjoy a fulfilling life.

Michael works with a range of different issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, relationship issues, low self esteem, bereavement, issues related to the workplace, coping with illness, intimacy and sexual issues, abuse issues, stress, personal growth and anger management.
