I am a qualified psychotherapist with a BA (Hons) degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School and am an accredited member of the IACP (Irish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy). I have also completed the Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). I use an Integrative and Humanistic approach to psychotherapy and counselling. I believe in the quality of the therapeutic relationship. I provide a confidential, non-judgemental and supportive environment. I believe the role of the therapist is to facilitate and assist clients to make meaning of their experience and discover their inner world. I am a dynamic therapist who promotes self-awareness, personal growth and well-being leading to more empowered individuals. I am a qualified psychotherapist  with a BA(Hons) degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy and I am a accredited member of IAHIP (Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy & Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP).  Since my qualification I have also acquired a professional certificate in the following areas: Bereavement Studies, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), The Dynamics of Attachment in Adult life and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). My approach to my work is integrative and humanistic, a module that encourages the distinctly human quality of choice and creativity and emphasizes the hopeful view of human beings and their ability to be self-determining. I use the analogy of the therapist being the person supporting the client by holding the blank canvas while the client creates their many works of art. I work with adults on a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, post natal depression, bereavement, grief and loss, relationship difficulties,suicidal issues and sexual abuse.  To enable clients to work on their own masterpieces creating a safe, non-judgemental compassionate listening space is a fundamental aim in my work as a therapist.

She is the holder of a BSc(Hons) in counselling and psychotherapy from Middlesex university and a diploma in counselling from PCI college in Dublin and is a fully qualified member of the IACP.  Her main areas of counselling include anxiety, panic attacks, conflict resolution, depression, suicide ideation, self harm, bereavement and loss and client family support and has extensive experience of dealing with adolescents and teenagers as well as adults.  As well as a private practise, Sandra is a therapist with Pieta House.

Matthew Tevlin MIACP (accred) is a Counsellor & Psychotherapist based in Celbridge, Co. Kildare.  'I work with individual adults and teenagers aged 16 and over. Sessions last 50 minutes and are usually on a weekly basis. Welcome to Maynooth Counselling and Psychotherapy, Maynooth’s most established private practice of qualified professional counsellors. Our counsellors cater to the wide range of emotional, psychological and relational issues presented and work with children, teenagers, adults, couples and families.
