Rating from 1 Review I would recommend her to anyoneDyl, Ireland, 21 Oct 14

I found Marianna very helpful over the two months (weekly) that I visited, I had very real mental issues surrounding school and she helped me work through them, I don't think I could have got through this without her help. The prices were very reasonable and I would recommend her to anyone.

Reality Therapy  is a therapyapproach helping clients learn about why they have made the choices in theirlives, understand what motivates their behaviour, and learn how to take backcontrol of their lives.  Learning how to make more effective decisions andchoices in our lives helps to free us from feeling controlled by others, or insituations where we feel helpless. This therapy is a framework for lifeproviding tools for individuals, couples, children, and teachers, helpinganyone having trouble with a relationship in their life, be it work, personal, family or a neighbour. Therapy offers someone the chance to be heardin a non-judgemental, private and confidential setting. The therapist whilelistening walks with the client in their shoes, the client sharing theirexperience of what is troubling them in life. Therapy flows at the pace thatsuits the client - what the client is ready and willing to explore and share. The therapeutic relationship is the trust that builds between client andtherapist to enable the client to explore their emotions, thoughts, feelingsabout the past, the present, and their future. This therapy approachis called Person-Centred and isnon-directive and usually longer-term psychotherapy. Mariposa Education & Counselling Service (MECS)

Teach Dara Community & Family Centre, Kildare,
Rating from 3 Reviews I found Joanna to be supportive, understanding and re-assuringMossie, Ireland, 11 Aug 16

I attended Mariposa for an employment issue. in the work place I felt bullied, harassed and scapegoated. At the time I felt overwhelmed and unable to deal with the smallest of issues. I was in a mess, all over the place and very emotional. I was diagnosed with chronic depressive anxiety. I found Joanna to be supportive, understanding and re-assuring. As the treatment progressed I was able to take down barriers and see the bigger picture. Joanna has been a great source of strength, professional and a guiding light throughout the process. I found the whole experience to be a success and without hesitation would recommend these services. The fee per session is reasonable and good value. Teach Dara is a beautiful building with a friendly staff. The Mariposa suite provides a close and personal environment.

Kildare Psychotherapy & Counselling

Academy Street, Kildare Town, Co. Kildare
Rating from 14 Reviews He is kind and emphatic and able to gently challenge those resistant partsJane, Ireland, 03 Jul 18

I have been going to Allan for some months now for psychotherapy and counselling and he has helped me so much, to notice my blind spots, broaden my awareness, show more kindness towards myself and others and has contained my feelings throughout the many emotional breakthroughs. Most recently, he helped me recognize acceptance for a part of me that I still had shame around. At the right time he beautifully introduced and executed an exercise which had such a powerful effect on me and showed me the huge benefits of this 'shameful part', which are vital to who I am and want to be. I woke up the next morning so appreciative of that part and me as a whole, a feeling I haven't had in a long time. Allan is an experienced and confident psychotherapist, he is kind and emphatic and able to gently challenge those resistant parts of me for a change to occur. I highly recommend Allan and Kildare Psychotherapy & Counselling service. Thank you very much.

Blue Sky Counselling and Psychotherapy

Allenwood, Naas, Co.Kildare
Rating from 6 Reviews Since I started going my life has changed for the betterConor, Ireland, 17 Aug 16

I was going through many different aspects that were getting the better of me. I had relationship issues, I had difficulty with my family and didn't know how to deal with stress or people who were being aggressive. With Austin's help I was able to discover that from all the dark areas of my past that I benefitted from them. Austin also helped me deal with all the negative things and how to turn it to a good thought. Since I started going my life has changed for the better and I am glad I made the call as Austin pushed me so I could better myself. My experience was great Austin didn't just sit there and nod his head t everything. He engaged with me and talked with me and helped me realise how much better off I was now for all the bad experiences I had. He really pushes you so that you get the best out of your time with him.
