Nesrin was so lovely and kind and her dietician kept checking on me and Dr Mani everyday. I was so nervous and they all put my mind at rest, sorry can’t remember every name but definitely recommend them.

My friend and I both chose Dr Suleyman Akilli for the gastric sleeve and so glad we did!!!!!! We travelled from Glasgow, Scotland. Everything has been amazing from start to finish! We were looked after and received 5 star treatment throughout the whole process! From booking and even now beyond surgery both Suleyman and Arina are always on hand to reply to any messages. We have zero regrets and would happily recommend 100% to anyone who is considering surgery. The hospital is immaculate and nothing was a problem! We are almost four weeks out and feeling AMAZING. Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy is the most commonly used method in the treatment of obesity. The operation allows the stomach to take the shape of a tubular tube extending through the small curvature. The avarage volüme of the stomach is about 150 – 200 cc. There are 2 weight loss mechanism in this surgery; restrictive and hormonal effect. Feeling of satiety with little food after vertically collapsing the stomach is a restrictive effect. The hormonal effect is the loss of appetite with reduced release of the ghrelin hormone produced by the cells in the fundus, which is the upper part of the stomach. After the operation, the patients lose about 65-70% of their excess weight in about 12 months.One of the greatest advantages of operation of the tube gastric (sleeve gastrectomy) is that there is no problem in the intake of vitamins and minerals since there is no operation that affects the absorption.

After having three children (all natural births) I felt that my bladder had weakened and my private area needed a rejuvenation. I contemplated and done a lot of research before finding Hylia Health. I was over the moon because the surgeon is female, for some this may not matter but personally, this put me at ease and made me feel more comfortable. Finally, I decided to go ahead and book and I am so glad I did. It has been one of the best choices I have made for myself. I feel much more confident and I can drink liters of water without multiple trips to the toilet. Hylia health where very professional and supportive every step of the way, before and after treatment. They arranged transfers to pick me up from my hotel and drop me back. They have a coordinator who spoke extremely good English and was even able to advise on the best places to go out to eat and do fun activities. Now I'm back in the UK they are still in contact with me via what's app and I can contact them anytime if I have any concerns
