I had sleeve gastrectomy surgery and my family members had eclipse balloons. It was a wonderful experience for us with the whole medical team led by Professor Ali, Nurse Sude, translator Mohammed, Ali Musthapa and nurses at Ward 3. They've been very meticulous and professional in attending to our medical needs. Hi all, Well mine is a bit of a strange story and I don't know how common my situation is. 10 years ago I had a Gastric bypass on the NHS and it worked great, I lost close on 75kg. However, during lock down, like so many others out of boredom I drank lots of alcahol and started getting back in bad eating habits and put on over 30kg. I tried getting this looked into by the NHS but my GP just seemed not to care. I called around for quotes in the UK and the cheapest I was offered was £13,000 which I just could not afford so decides to look into what is awailable in other countries. Turkey came up as my best option and managed to finde The Healwide click where Ömer did a great job in offering me a fantastic offer for a gastric bypass revision at an affordable price. I flew to Turkey to the Medical Park Hospital and on the 8th of May and after many and very thorough check ups I had my operation. Everything went really well, the Surgeons and all the other staff were very caring. I very much doubt you would get much better treatment anywhere else. I have now lost over 8kg in just over a week and just know this is going to be a great success.

I'm writing this comment from home on day 6 of my surgery. I would like to say that I was very scared when I decided to have the operation, but when I arrived in Istanbul and got into the vehicle that was supposed to take me to the hospital, I felt very safe. When I arrived at the hospital, my translator was waiting for me and helped me settle into my room. Before my operation, all the necessary tests were carried out, x-rays were taken and my heart was examined. It was like an investigation was being conducted. The next morning Dr. visited me. Cem with my translator, answered all my questions and encouraged me to have the operation. He is both a very good doctor and very professional. After the operation, I had some pain but they gave me enough painkillers. After a few hours, I was able to walk and move around the hospital on my own. After the hospital the vehicle took me to my hotel, everything was ready for me and the hotel was very nice. I stayed in the hotel for two nights. A WhatsApp group was set up with a nutritionist, a doctor and a translator and I was immediately given all the necessary information. I'm home now and can say my surgery went great. I flew from New Zealand and had my surgery on the 15th of April 2024. It was amazing to have my Dietitian- Sena there with me literally every step of the way (through pre-op test and post-surgery) to clarify any questions or concerns I had. I felt at ease having her there with me due to the language barrier and the nerves. The surgery itself went well and everything that was going to happen was explained thoroughly to me. The care from nurses and staff at Novemed was excellent - nurses checked in with me regularly throughout the day and night and Novemed also provided transport to and from the airport/hotel and hospital - even they were prompt and very friendly. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking into WLS.

I had my Gastric Sleeve Surgery from Apera Health group on 29th of June 2022. I must say I never had any Surgery before, but Apera welcome me, they help me to overcome my fear. I had my gastric bypass surgery a month ago and I've already lost 2 stones! As someone who has been trying to lose weight for years it's already been an amazing journey. I am very happy. Started to see the results. Very happy with my decision so far even though there are 7 stones to go. The Clinic Center team was very helpful from the beginning encouraging me to exercise and diet as well. It was wonderful to come across Clinichub. Unfortunately, although my soul is still young, our body succumbs to the times. It succumbs to gravity. I can’t recommend this place enough! From the moment I stepped off the plane I was looked after and made to feel so welcome and safe. The surgeons were absolutely amazing, the nurses were attentive and so caring, I don’t have a bad word to say. If your like me and looking for a safe place outside the u.k to have surgery and change your life this the place to go. I will definitely be going back if I need any body contouring after I lose all this weight!

Highly recommend. I had a gastric ballon six months ago. I lost 20 kg with the support and great advices from Dietitian Nur. Dr Kaplan is a very good doctor with huge experience and always want the best option for patient. It was a good experience. Also good value for money.

Great experience.I travelled with a friend who was my companion and her daughter who was also having the surgery. Very well organised from day one. Faith Ozturk guided us through the whole process from the initial contact, all the way to the follow up once home and was on hand 24/7 for any questions or worries. The whole process went very smoothly pick up from airport to hospital for pcr test then back to hotel. In contact the whole time telling us what time we'd be collected for the drive to the hospital in the morning. Once at the hospital it was very well run, the surgeon Dr Bora Koc came to see us and explain the process, he spoke very good English, whilst we had test done and blood taken. Once back from surgery the staff were very attentive and came to take regular observations, making sure we were free from pain and hydrated. I had frequent visits from the English speaking liaison who was there within seconds if a nurse didn't understand a question or answer you had. Dr visited quite a few times over the 3 day I was there keeping a check on recovery. Overall a very good, positive experience and would definitely recommend.
