Biography:
Tom qualified from The Queens University, Belfast, in 1978, having been awarded the John Malone medal for excellence in operative dentistry.  As well as entering general practice, Tom retained links with Queens University Dental School by working as a clinical teacher in periodontics (gums) for 10 years.
He has undertaken extensive post graduate studies in endodontics (root canal therapy) and has also completed the highly acclaimed Advanced Restorative Dentistry course at the Eastman Dental Institute in London.
More recently Tom has completed the prestigous Masters in Medical Science in Dental Implantology at Sheffield University.
He continues to further his knowledge and skills by attending local and international courses, especially those in cosmetic and implant dentistry.
His interest in dentistry is wide-ranging and extends well beyond the practice.  He has held the position of chairman of the local dental committee and a member of committees for dental strategy at government level. Tom is a member of the British Endodontic Society, The British Society of Periodontology, The Association of Dental Implantology, The British Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Biography:
Marc graduated from the University of Dundee in 2000 with a degree in Anatomical Sciences, achieving a physics award during his studies and four years later qualified out of Dundee in Dentistry.
He was awarded the John Sturrock memorial prize for his final year elective project. This subsequently led to his work being published in the British Dental Journal and the British Journal of Oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Marc returned home to work in the community dental service. In this field of dentistry he combined his skills and personality to work with the elderly and anxious children.
After spending a year and a half in this service, he came back into General Practice. It is here under Tom’s guidance, that he has seen his horizons widen with the different aspects of dentistry happening all the time.
Marc is continuing to further extend is knowedge and skills with future courses and programmes of interest, to help fulfil his ambitions of being a competent and confident general practitioner.
Mark has a special interest in orthodontics and carries out extensive work on both both adults and children with excellent results.
