Reflexology, Electro-Acupuncture, Massage
My wife suffers from fibromyalgia and gets CHRONIC muscle pain where her muscles go into spasms, she had been here before and raved about it so I decided so send her for a few treatments as an anniversary gift. As soon as she walked in she said it was just like entering another world, so quiet and peaceful, and the "ambience" and the wonderful smells of the difference oils just instantly put her in a relaxed state of mind.
When I called to make the appointment I actually got to speak with Joan ( the owner) herself I explained what my wife goes through on a daily basis so she suggested this new treatment she is doing called electro acupuncture. It's basically acupuncture and the needles are attached to electrodes which get deep into the muscles tissue and break down the lactose acid. My wife uses a tens machine and its kind of like that but 100 times better (I'm quoting my wife here!)
First she had an hour long Reflexology and she fell asleep half way through it. Then she had the electro acupuncture, She never even felt the needles going in. She said it was so relaxing she fell asleep again!! And after that she had a great relaxing back massage that she felt went on Forever. Yes, you guessed she fell aslerp again lol. All in all she had a fantastic day, and was Great Value For Money. They do great deals if your booking more than one treatment, and the other (similar places close by) clinics / holistic places were daylight robbery. Their "discount" and I use that term loosely were laughable in comparison. These treatments should have cost me €140.00 and even at that, I find that great value for money, some places cost that just for the massage!! But Joan being the beautiful and kind human being she is offered me a discount and did all 3 for €100.00!!!!! The difference between the walmer and other places is, that Joan genuinely listens to her clients. She wants to help people, and she's not all about the making money! This really is a completely different clinic than any other I have ever brought/ sent my wife to.
Happy wife, happy life!!! Lol. First of all I want to thank Joan for giving me back my wife, its day 3 now, and she has been pain free. To see my wife smile again is the most wonderful feeling in the world to me. So the walmer clinic will most Definitely be her go to place in future.
Another thing my wife said was unlike other places they don't try push products on you that you don't want or need. No tacky sales techniques. It's genuinely all about the care of the client. And nor was she or I forced to buy a "package deal, like ohh you need at least 10 treatment. There was none of that at all. So lafs if your in trouble with the Mrs. Or if she has a birthday or like me, an anniversary. This is one way of earning those brownie points!!!
