I am a fully qualified psychotherapist with a Level 9 Postgraduate Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from University College Cork having completed four years of training in Turning Point Training Institute. I am an  accredited member of the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (I.A.H.I.P). I work with a wide range of issues which include relationships, family issues, trauma, grief, loss and bereavement, identity,  multi-cultural issues, self esteem and personal development, psychosexual issues, depression, anxiety, stress, bullying and work related issues . In my previous work as a solicitor I had over twenty years experience working with vulnerable clients and specialised in the areas of family law, equality law, childcare law and refugee law.   As a family lawyer I represented clients in stressful situations encompassing divorce, separation, custody, maintenance and domestic violence. In the area of equality I did a significant amount of work with gay, lesbian and transgender clients, clients with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities both in relation to employment and services. In the equality and refugee areas I worked with people from many different cultural backgrounds. With a background in Banking and qualifications in Nutrition, Fitness, and Wellness, she focuses on holistic treatment and client-centered development. Deimante is open-minded and encourages clients to discuss topics such as intimacy, sexuality, trauma, addiction, and their relationship with themselves and the world. She advocates for mental and physical health, allowing her clients' physical, psychological, spiritual, and sexual selves to be heard and worked with in the therapeutic space. Areas of focus include past and present trauma, relationship issues, sexuality, anxiety, depression, workplace issues, life purpose, isolation, multicultural concerns, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and ADHD. Edwina Mulvey has practised as a hypnotherapist and psychotherapist since 2003. Using a combination of approaches she can help clients with therapies such as CBT, Person Centred Therapy, Parts Therapy and Hypnotherapy. She believes in an eclectic approach to help clients resolve anything they wish to resolve. She works with people to resolve anxiety, panic attacks, grief, bereavement and loss. Her clients are adults and adolescents. Sessions are one hour long - €50.00 for adults and €30.00 for adolescents.

Employing a combination of contracted and voluntary therapists and practitioners, we are able to offer accessible and affordable mental health care. Clients are able to self-refer to MyMind's service by booking appointments by calling the office, and due to the volume of mental health professionals we employ, appointments are usually made within 3 days of their first contact with MyMind.
